@HH, maybe it's due to the fact the deal was based on shares being issued at 1.10p/share.
Due to all the deramping the SP is unfortunately much lower now. So maybe the BOD are waiting for the SP to go back up to 1.10p otherwise they might have to issue more shares.

@HH, in the Corporate Presentation issued last Thursday on p.12 it states:
"Finalising 90% holding in two Iron Ore licences in the world class Pilbara region of Western Australia."

Fenix paid off all their debt within 6 months and paid massive dividends at end of 1st year.

Our tiny Capex of below US$30M will be spread over longer than just 1 year.

But, I'm not too bothered about raising money when the SP is at above current fair value of 2.7p.

Also we have very low strip ratio 1:1
Fenix has a strip ratio of 2.86:1 meaning that mining 1 tonne of ore requires mining 2.86 tonnes of waste rock!

Fenix have narrow BIF that goes down to optimised open pit of 155m. This means they have to keep drilling & blasting down (very expensive).

Before they were just taking figures from the other projects. Very different when actually getting it priced now.

Now actually getting it costed by AK Evans Group etc. Before they were running figures from similar projects which are all much further away.

Hanc0ck has Mining Rate of 1.25Mtpa.
Latest Iron Ore price (with Shanghai being in lockdown for 2 months) is = $133/t.
Latest shipping rates from Port Hedland to China are $10.65/t.
Operating costs under $60/t.

= $62/t profit
= $77.5M/year profit for Hanc0ck full yearly production.

All makes sense why they would take on Vivash Gorge.
Money will be piling in next year and Vivash Gorge is even closer to the port.
Also with economies of scale, overall operating costs will be even lower.
IOCA going to be a big player with Brockman coming online also.

In Oz September Quartile means Q3.

Continue to be for "Shovel Ready" to mine Q1 2023.
