@HH, this is why the Scoping Study was so important which was conducted by Mining Plus (as Bill stated, the same company that developed Fenix's project).
You would think Mining Plus would have a good understanding of the figures involved, and they stated "exceptionally strong returns"!!

Bill mentioned they are working on updated Scoping Study. Expect this after Resource Upgrade like last year.
Bill also mentioned the costs are in line with last Scoping Study (taking into account increases in fuel prices etc).

If you not think the project will provide "exceptionally strong returns" then sell and stop putting up your "Wet Blanket" posts as you call them.

@HH, Bulk carrier shipping can be shared with other companies. The vessels have separate compartments.
The freight shippers from Port Hedland wonts sail half empty! That's not how freight shipping works.
Therefore, you can still get the same standard rates.

Also as the Iron Ore price has fallen, so does shipping costs.

I don't have current Geraldton Shipping costs, but I listed to the CEO's presentation once and he mentioned US$35/t from Geraldton.

Also as we scale up with Brockman & Vivash, our overall operating costs will reduce.

Shorter distance to the Ashburton Hub and MinRes CEO Chris Ellison said it will be much cheaper to ship from Onslow than Port Hedland. They allow 3rd Party Ore on all their infrastructure.
In their recent presentation Ellison said their automated road trains will have a cost of under A$0.03/t km!
This is comparable with rail freight, without the huge Capex spend to build a railway.

Plus they are working with Kenworth to use Hydrogen injection that bolts on the side of the engine which adds water and gives 30% fuel savings!

Bill mentioned current FOB costs of $65 (including recent increases in fuel etc).
Plus $7.85/t shipping.
Total costs including all royalties etc = $72.85.

Iron Ore at $100/t CFR, UFO profit = over $25/t. This is huge. Silver miners make around $1/oz!

Fenix has very high shipping costs having to ship out of little residential town Geraldton.

UFO Fair Value before signing agreement with Anglo American (Mkt Cap +£36Billion!) was 2.7p. Should be much higher now with the future potential.

In the interview Bill mentioned twice:

Fenix send shipments to steel mills in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan and China.

Anglo American has offices in Singapore, Shanghai, New Dehli. It could end up anywhere in Asia (WEF states middle class in Asia is expected to increase from 2Billion to 3.5Billion by 2030).

Big demand will come from India which will be worlds most populous country from next year. They are planning to almost triple their steel production, from about 112MT currently to 300MT by 2030. It takes a long time to develop new iron ore mines, so they will need to import a lot (they recently put massive tariffs on exports of Iron Ore, effectively stopping exports).

WHI gave Alien Metals initial Fair Value of 2.7p (before the deal) and said 2022 will be a company defining year for UFO.

Yes Lyndon, when the SP dropped after the first hour on 8th Sept on no news and stop losses being triggered at 0.55p whilst MMs were willing to buy as many shares as they could a few of us tried to tell people there IS a big buyer.
We got nothing but constant abuse from the resident derampers over past few weeks. A lot of people panic sold. Others got fed up with no news. Others encouraging shareholders to sell UFO at 0.55p and chase rainbows (since they were out) etc. AIM is one big casino and the little people are not supposed to win. Need balls of Iron Ore & Silver. UFO is the real deal. We've now got Anglo American as big brother alien :)

Also interesting looking at the Map on the RNS. It states "Figure 1: Location of Hanc0ck Iron Ore Project, Western Australia"

But they have updated it with Munni Munni & Elizabeth Hill also, which will be next :))

Fair Value was 2.7p before this deal with Anglo American which now provides "pursuit of scale across multiple assets with a world class counterparty".
