I don't see why people are hung up on whether US$5m will be raised by issuing shares or loan.
It's a tiny amount in mining.
UFO raised £4m / US$5m in Nov 2021.
This time it's for unlocking over US$1bn DSO with 8 years FCF with clear scope to go beyond 30 years!

@Metalhead, what difference does it make where the "in this case, of US$5 million" raised comes from to Anglo American.

If it is through issuing shares, I've seen other companies raise multiples more and the SP has rocketed. It's all about monetising the assets.

But before then, lots of news due. UFO have a game plan.

Still no reason why UFO can't get loan funding like other juniors, especially when hedge is in place.

@Metalhead, it doesn't say new equity raised by Alien can't be a loan.
Also the deal involves:
iii. documentation for mandatory HEDGING to be executed and provided by a third party or Anglo American;

Once the hedge is in place, it's a no brainer to get loan funding.
Other juniors got loan funding. Eg. Strike got US$7.2 million loan facility.

Fenix paid out dividends to shareholder 8months after first shipment exported.
However, they literally only have 1 Post-it size narrow BIF that goes down to optimised open pit of 155m. Nothing else to exploit.

I agree with CJ. UFO have 10s km of ridges to explore at Hanc0ck and Brockman with est target of 233Mt which majors have been drilling right on boarder line plus Elizabeth Hill & Munni Munni - open at depth & along strike with only 20% tested and West needs safe source of Platinum & Palladium (80% from Russia & S. Africa!).

Sector is actually key. UFO went to over 3p in 2020 without having even drilled anything. How close were UFO to production then?
Capital flows about to start coming back.
LME at historic lows on metals.
People will be looking to invest in the metals sector and get maximum leverage.
And this time UFO about to become a producer & keep going up.
