Brent and WTI now heading up again. Would like to see what happens when Brent is at 32/33

best way to be honest - I think this is undervalued and £1 is fair value. We also have what appears to be a significant stakebuilder, so I like what I see and I think a takeover could well be tabled for the outfit. They would be getting a bargain. Samuel has been upping his stake throughout the last 6 months, has gone from 5-6% to over 13% and it would be good to see if he has been buying yet again.

Just beware all that nothing goes up in a straight line, so careful if the bid gets pulled by the MM, they are probably taking out trailing stops. Expect them to play with this as they did yesterday

I was disappointed as I believe we should be well into the 30's. This price presents an opportunity.

Ahhhh Darren123, where have you been when we closed yesterday brent was at 29 it’s now 31. I think your ignorance is perhaps because you want to either buy in on close a position. If we had to sell at the spot price granted our break even is currently $33-35. What you forget is out of all the oil plays our saving grace are our hedges we have 60% hedged at $57 for 2020 and 40% hedged at $53 next year. Low oil prices will flip and go the other way - no more of them stories about storage right now....in fact they have turned into oil heading higher. Add to this that Tlw should have been 30p yesterday - mms appear to have held it to fill some buys - well over 7m after hours. Look Ling forward to a very large gap up

Tomorrow I would think. Brent at $28 and I was thinking we would be well into 30p, however for it to be held in a range between 26 - 27.5 was disappointing. Then after hours you can see why ......over 7m shares have been purchased, so the MMs have been filling that. I know some hedge funds have been closing short positions recently and/ or we have some institutional buyers - Is Samuel increasing his stake again? All should become clear - looking forward to seeing a holdings rns along with an update to the short tracker.

Oh did I mention Brent is now $31.00.....expect loads to pick up on these purchases and pile in tomorrow.

Nice finish today and sets us up nicely for tomorrow. I would imagine more of the same, quietly optimistic and pleased, Getting through 26p was a big achievement and with some repeated 100k and 50k buys I do think we culd get a holdings RNS advising who has been adding. I personally think it will be IKO.

fjones40 with 5398 posts on the LSE board you would have thought that you would have known what a UT is? This is an accounting measure on the SETS system.

Should see this close out near 28p - a few sells been collected

100k buys have been filled for a while. I do believe we are seeing a shift in direction here and look forward to a re-ate as we approach results at the end of this month. We know profit has been restated at £42m and cash in hand at £142M, Potential disposal just being ratified and we have reopened a large proportion of stores. Onward and upwards.

At these levels I would imagine IKO would be adding to their holding. They have over 14% and I can see the potential here to build a significant stake. Takeover potential or a tie up of sorts.

MT lets not get too carried away, although 40p realistic

Looks like the shackles are off - sells cleared. Big buys filled.

Looks like a lot of smaller buys being put through.....looks like it is following the same trend as yesterday. Could be set for a further positive move. I think an update on operations imminent

We appear to be positioning again for another move. With lockdown easing across the globe and the UK to unveil plans this week I do believe we will be heading higher again. MMs will be marking this up - nice volume today.

The next wave of buys came in at 24.5/6 it looks like.
