I added another 6k today……the trend is there for all to see. Slicing at £3.50 esp as MOEX is showing such high volumes and at a significantly higher price.

But with that in mind, inflation and recession on everyone’s lips gold prices will set new ATH’s - definitely one sector you’d want to be part of. With extraction and distribution to be routed to Asia and India expect some healthy revenue figures. The war rages on, but equally it could stop at any time - It certainly lasted longer than many had anticipated.

Looks set for a positive open - let the trend here continue. Some of those long holders should be rewarded as this could well be chased higher. GLA with your respective strategies

@Massive Ray I’ll play it safe at £3.45 - everyone has their own strategy, but this is sitting at buy levels right now

My view is exactly the same, but ask Massive Ray come £3.50 I’ll top slice again

Nice to see the charts/patterns are also supporting a positive move - momentum building. I use Barchart dot com and the trends poster has this a buy supported by the 20 Day MA - but ultimately with the premium being paid on the Russian exchanges there could well be something more going on in the background. Buy hold and add should finances allow. That’s what I have done and will re-evaluate when we are well above £3

Bearded dragon £1.90 and 205.00 makes hardly no odds tbh. These were 1100-1550 not so long ago (pre war) and the numbers they are churning support a far higher valuation. I’ll follow my strategy and rope slice when we are back above £3.30 and build up a free bag.

Yes nothing is straightforward, but 5 months into the conflict and I genuinely believe that some middle ground will be achieved.

We saw Russia and Ukraine work on a deal for the opening of a grain corridor on Friday - personally I can’t see the spilt happeNing before an agreement between the nations are made.

First signed between Ukraine and Russia about 90 mins ago…….safe passage for grain exports. It’s a start!

Gap has filled from our steep move earlier in the week, now expect us to tick higher. Good if you bought a few here and a little lower last couple of days.

See I have bought low and many will know when we were around £3.20 I sold and kept a free carry. I have started to add today and feel comfortable at these levels. Like many have noted the gold is currently stockpiled and will be going out to china, India and Asia and this will boost receivables. I am also acutely aware that markets in gold will probably head higher as money goes into safehavens

Bought again at £1.90…….looks like a gap fill to me, but happy to add here
