RE: POLY considers (doesn’t mean it’s going to happen)27 Jan 2023 11:09
Rhetoric that’s it in my view. I thing the storm has passed, but will probably see one more drop when the US market opens up and I’ll go shopping yet again.
I took them at 203 as the mms will take out the sub £2 ATs and then the buys come in at bang on £2 then we go into auction and we probably head towards £2.40
I call it based on the facts and what the information is and wider market. I stick what I said when we were at £3.40 it looked like the steam had run out and we had a good run over the last 4 weeks. Consolidation around the £2.80 mark. We are at £2.30, so for me a big mark down and representing great value.
As for the £10 window being closed - don’t talk rubbish. End of war and instant re-rate and no exchange migration - which I still think is highly unlikely. This is boardroom rhetoric to keep things ticking over. At these levels you could well see it being taken private
Be like Massive Ray and fill your boots. I am a little more risk adverse, so will always take something off the table, but that allows me to buy on any weakness, which is exactly what I have done.
Just buy at these levels - we should settle around the £2.80-£2.90 mark. The POLY board are playing smart to ensure survival they will carry on doing what is best for their business and shareholders. With the uncertainty of war if we get to a stage of “peace” in a relative sense then the SP re-rates to £11-12 and it remains as is! Use the opportunity presented - simple.
Don’t worry about should of could of and all that - use the opportunity now

Some getting £2.70 now - so that £2.19 looks pretty good if you went in for some. All in all satisfied as I managed to add more to my pot. Cash back in the pot for another rainy day
Got my 5000 shares out from from £2.19 at 2.55 and 2.64 having bought with my rainy day fund - all fun and games. Oh well now set again to buy if the opportunity comes
It’s in auction - be cause once they yank all the AT and panic sellers out they inevitably allow this to find its level, which to me is around £2.85. We will never see this leave its London listing - that is something I am pretty certain about
