“Traded in pounds not pence” is a bold shout. Can’t see that unless we are talking multiple drills one after another and hammerhead confirmation. When was the last time a speculative oil company with no production traded in pounds?

I see that from this last update below, Jethro and Joe are mentioned as “allow the company to maintain rights”, however, no mention of Hammerhead? Any reason for this

“ While the Orinduik Licence reached the end of its second renewal term on 14 January 2026, the provisions under the Petroleum Act allow the Company to maintain rights to the Jethro-1 and Joe-1 discoveries pending approval of the submitted appraisal programme. This would be it - great result for ECO and its shareholders, raise out the way now and we can concentrate on further news to take us to 40p+, once drilling confirmed there will be another step change

Of a raise coming. I truly respect IJT opinion and he’s knows ECO more than most on this board.But i feel he is incorrect in that there will be no raise.

The share price can’t go higher than 25p and we are being held at 20% of recent highs. I think ECO would be mad not to take advantage of this recent rise especially if near term drilling in Guyana is going ahead. I think a raise at around 18p-20p will be done and i will pile in at those levels as will most.

Gill has done a great job in not massively diluting ECO like other AIM CEOs. Onwards and upwards in the New Year - Good luck everyone

I can see ECO raise money in the near future, Gill wasn’t going to dilute at sub 10p, so the question is at what price. We need to secure funds to drill in Orinduik. So is this rapid rise to raise funds quickly and secure the drilling rig for spudding Q1 2026.

All hinges on ECO securing the Orinduik block going forward, why would anyone farm in not knowing if ECO have the blocks secured

Venezuela has in the past not been very friendly to Guyana, so don’t know how this will impact ECO, i suspect its on the good side
