Funding Update





Further to the notification made on 26 November 2020, Amigo can confirm it has reached agreement for a further extension of the securitisation facility performance trigger waiver period to 25 June 2021. The size of the facility is £250 million. All cash generation arising from customer loans held within the facility is restricted and will continue to be used during the waiver period extension to further reduce the outstanding balance. As of the date of renewal, the facility was drawn at £132.4 million.

As JB once stated - the name Maverick originates from a cattle farmer in the USA...when all the other farmers were busy branding their cattle, one farmer sat back, relaxed and refused to follow the pack, he then claimed that any un-branded cattle belong to him.....genius, hence he was known as a Maverick..

I don't disagree Watts, I also believe it will be a gold play or why would TA vote to keep TL.....The oil theory adds an interesting twist and I don't believe can be totally disregard due to links and close contacts with TA.
I personal would be very disappointed with ORR or any African based company & I am very confident this will not happen. Tim has never instilled me with confidence at the best of times and I've often described him as boring !
For me it will be :- an Unlisted mining resource company (Gold, Copper, Silver, etc) in Europe or Australia....
Now what does confuse me is :- nothing explains the 2 week delay for res 6,7,8 ? unless they simply run out of time in getting the deal over the line and used the resolution as an excuse...

Is that TA has been holding for well over 12 months before the sell off / drop and has continued to averaged down.....Mmm I am not so sure that, thats his motive...He has his accountant on the Bod for a reason...

Why would a millionaire businessmen like TA put his money and accountant into little old ORM ?

A simple scenario....Mercedes Benz have only ever manufacturing diesel cars for the last 20 years but the environment agency are stopping the manufacturing of all diesel cars due to pollution & health risks, MB are told they now have to repaying owners, compensation and damage cost dating back over the last 5years.....
Now Mercedes having lost millions due to the above and with very little revenue are desperate for the EA to complete an in depth independent review, lowering the emission standard so they can update / modify there vehicle to comply and get back selling cars....
Luckily their CEO is a visionary and decides screws the EA... they are going to continue to keep adding tighter restrictions year on year reducing our profits and eventually putting us out of business.....Its far easier, quicker, more profitable due to a larger demographic to make and bring new products to market......

There is no way TA is going to let ORM have a £50m asset for £5m !
ORM would need to rise cash to fund this kind of purchase....also why would TA vote to keep Tim on the Bod who is a so call gold expert.
I full except that there may well be a difference of opinions in which direction the company should take (Oil or Gold) but lets not forget TA is holding 71m shares, so for ORM to make this Oil option go away or prevent a take-over from TA they would need to buy his holdings 71m @ .80 but being a businessmen he's going to want much, much more ....I believe either option is good news for shareholders....

Are ORM in conflict with TA over which direction the company should move (Oil/Gold) is this the reason they have grant ed permission to buy back shares ?
So they can strengthen their position to negotiating or buyout TA ?

Its all about getting our new products to market......NSF & MCL are both still lending 'None standard product' wouldn't be surprised if Gary is working closely with Chris putting together the final pieces.....
