Suppose so. After being burnt already, I'll maybe sit on sidelines, see how this pans out...
Nor me. Potentially a 25% ish opportunity?
Sold out here recently at a 7k loss @ mid 19's, but considering dipping my toe again at these prices - worth it guys? Or cut my losses? *scratches head*
Ticking up bb. Matd looking good this morning, it's a blue day my freind. May stick another few K in here, see this at £1.20 soon - certainly so, if your prediction comes off...
Thanks James. It did ruin my Christmas to an extent if I'm honest. Had everything bar the kitchen sink in here. I admit I fell fall foul to all the hype on the board, hoping for a big payout - greed;one of the seven deadly sins. I stayed in until today, hoping & praying for a counter, letting other opportunities slip by. I finally decided to jump ship Sepura & invest elsewhere. Hard nut to swallow, 7k but that said if you're still in mate, I'll still be praying for a counter bid/better offer for you. GL. Best.
Fed up, sold my 60k holoing at a 7k loss this morning. Didn't have the payience to keep watching this until counter-offer deadline day, 16th. Invested in 2 oilies & made nearly all of my loss back in a day. Goodbye sleepless nights & good luck to all still invested.
I'm assuming to qualify for a 'yes' they need a majority vote? Our individial votes may not stand for much in the grand scheme if the big boy share holders vote 'yes'. My thinking is, if Sepura want a yes, they'll get a yes. Maybe that's why some of these companies are buying big; could they be in bed with Sepura? On the other hand - The Chinese are generally known to like a good barter. Petsonally, I think even they'd be surprised if Sepura accepted their first offer. I deal with Chinese suppliers on a regular basis, importing & cheeky is an understatement, it can sonetimes take a while to get the price we want. Maybe there are some more legs in this price.
Anyone know how we vote NO to this shafting? Anywhere we go, anything to fill out?
Define fisky wonk? - good fishy, bad fishy?
Closed from the 23rd, I think?
Buying @ 19.5 or thereabouts & selling 20, taking the spread into condideration, would surely be a pointless punt. Unless you're in for a very LARGE amount. Lot to risk for a small return imo. Far from 'printing money' wonk.
Thanks for the clarification Art.
Doesn't look like anything is getting rejected? Closing in Q1 'according to the companies'
UPDATED WITH CORRECT OFFER VALUE: China-based Hytera Communications announces that it has offered $92 million to buy Sepura, a TETRA manufacturer based in the United Kingdom (UK), in an all-cash transaction that is expected to close during the first quarter of 2017, according to the companies.
It's a ghost town here at the mo! ELA's fell asleep. Maybe we'll see some movement pn the 30th.
Anybody know what these weird buys/sells are all about? 1...2...5..shares at a time? The majority appear to be automatic....
I think you're on the money there Benjie. 'They won't want to shout about their success as they could becone a bigger target for militants'
Top draw. Thanks for the reassurance Elland and the article. I do understand the massive potential here. After such a good run and investors finally recognising the raw potential it was painful to see her drop again.
Crazy...I think your mid 20's prediction is on-track Mike, dropping ed like a stone. Painful to watch.
Some good points Mike & thanks for your resppnse. I obviously need to take a leaf out of your book my freind - wish I'd have sold at 47 - ave 42p @ 50k here. I'll continue to hold, maybe average down taking your 34.44 & mid 20 remarks into consideration. My concentration is on Sepura at the mo. Interesting share.
