I should add that I am waiting on big news on another share and I hope it is sorted asap as I want to invest as much as I can at current levels.

Bang on. I rarely post on here as I prefer to read the informed fact posters such as Tiburn. I will be holding for as you state years. The fundamentals are outstanding yet the last few months have been staggering to say the least. However, I remain very positive and have patience in spades. Good luck all.
Imo the announcement of the license signing being extended to the end of November is the biggest news released from Q3. It's the reason many invested to begin with and for some reason over the last 6 months it's been forgotton about. If and when the agreement is signed the potential is huge. I'm perfectly happy to hold for a number of years and whilst it's obvious the company has to improve it's communications, it's also obvious that as an oil production company it is going to steadily grow into a company that one day will be worthy of a buy out from one of the big boys. I'm very optimistic for the future.
Panama.
Hope you're right. I'm confident for the future and I see this as almost comical atm. How on Gods Earth are we at the level pre suspension??? How on could it even be a possibility that Atomic was priced into the suspended sp? I'm no trader by any stetch and I believe that if something appears to be too good to true then it probably is. However I'm looking a few years down the line for my return and if we get to 3.5 - 4p I will be a very happy man.
Been a steady decline for a while now which surely has contributed to the lower than expected opening price and subsequent sell off. Hindsight is wonderful but it seems to me that even if it opened at 1p we would have been at 0.4 or even lower considering the astronomical sell off. Dissapointed no doubt but I'm able to hold for a very long time so I'll remain optimistic.
It does seem strange that 'many on here' are being criticised for being a bit negative when we've been led down the garden path for months. I PRAY we relist before the 14th BUT what I'm legitimately asking is this which nobody ses to have a factual answer to : IF the FCA don't approve our prospectus before the 14th do we need to 'drop in' (Art's words) the Q2 results. Now FGS sake that is not being s naive, dimwit inexperienced investor as some accuse but a very legitimate question.
Legin252. Well if you feel you haven't been lied to that is up to you but what I feel is obviously different and the person who is spreading the disinformation is the person who stated it i.e our CEO. Now it's obviously only opinion as for all we know we are 24hrs away from the prospectus being accepted, however history dictates that there hasn't been a deadline met for many months and history also dictates that when the company has missed a quarterly result the FCA require it to go into the prospectus. Now I don't see how Q2 will be any different to Q1. I obviously hope it's accepted before the 14th as personally I think the increase in sp will be greater by announcing the Q2 results post relisting and not pre. Each to their own.
The FCA requested Q1 results within the prospectus presumably because it went past the date they were meant to be published. Why would that be any different if we go past the 14th August when Q2 results are meant to be published?
Legin252
Yes. He stated at the AGM that the prospectus was being submitted 4 days later on the Friday.
Now they are 'working to finalise the prospectus ' which tells me that it is still with COPL and not the FCA. If was surely the RNS states that he prospectus has been submitted and waiting for FCA approval.
And back to square one. Now the FCA have every right to demand Q2 into a prospectus that we were told at the AGM, was submitted a month ago (the subsequent Friday). Fact is we have been lied to and the prospectus hasn't been submitted at all.
Yatchmaster,
Ahh I see. Thanks.
Whilst there doesn't seem to be a reason why it shouldn't, if the prospectus is not approved by August 14th when Q2 results should be announced (correct me if I have the date wrong), will the Q2 results have to be added to the prospectus under the FCA rules which would cause further delay?
To say I'm excited is a b****y understatement, however didn't Art say at the AGM that the prospectus would be submitted on the Friday (a few days after the AGM) and the Q1 results 'dropped in' the middle of July?
If so I'm a bit confused about 'work towards finalising' the prospectus when it has effectively already been completed and submitted weeks ago and we were just waiting on completion of Q1.
Maybe a bit of paranoia!!
Very exciting times. I'm small time compared to some but 3p would be life changing for the wife and me. I've never met anyone like her who finds money pretty much irrelevant but a 3 week trip to the Southern States of the US would be amazing for us. I'm a massive horse racing fan and I'd love to take in the Kentucky Derby and travelling across to Dallas and visit the Dealey Plaza where JFK was shot as she is a fanatic on the subject. Oh to dream!
Thanks Busymum but I've emailed Art to ask how on Earth it's the FCA's fault that COPL can't conclude their own Q1 results. That is nothing whatsoever to do with the FCA.
Ahh I see, you're the Jamie that has a sky high reputation on here. From reading previous posts I shouldn't have been surprised at your response. However little boy, thankfully there are people on here who are patient and understanding at what amounts to amateur investor's such as me. To be honest I shouldn't give a toss about silly little attention seekers as when this one comes home to roost I'll be rich!
I know however you are desperate for it to fail.
Jog on.
Sorry your highness but some of us are very inexperienced in such matters. Now crawl back under the rock you came out from under.
Many thanks - it baffled me!
Utterly gobbledygook!!
He wants to leave a legacy so I think this is very good news.
