Crikey. Whats going on?

I see that Vertu is profiled in the FT today.

As Vertu a significant importer of vehicles manufactured in continental Europe, isnt this share a Brexit play?. So may go one way or another after the Referendum and not much before then?

Any idea why the SP fell by so much yesterday?. I didnt see any announcements.

Any ideas anyone?. Nothing on RNS. Has the world unilaterally decided to live in peace and harmony? Have "Acts of God" been temporarily suspended?

The Board expects trading performance for the year ended 29 February 2016 to be ahead of current market expectations, anticipating record revenues and profits in the period.

They`ve reiterated their Buy recemmendation with a target of 975p

Why stop at 1000%? That makes no sense unless the sale is justified

Buying seems a little subdued bearing in mind the results

Look at CVSG, VTU and GBG.

I would imagine a number of instututional investors will be dumping their holdings and buying into the Placing. I`d therefore expect the SP to drift lower. Anyone dissent?

I'm concerned that the gushingly positive Directorspeak here may need a discount applied to it, given that disappointing interim results followed several positive updates. That's not good enough, and the share price reaction today shows that clearly the company's actual performance was not as good as the market had been led to believe in previous updates. Overall then, for me, there's a credibility issue here, so for that reason, combined with the lack of liquidity in the shares, it's not for me.

At the full year Simon Richards, Chairman, commented: " I am looking forward to the next 6 to 12 months for red24, and, having recently announced the acquisition of RISQ Worldwide, I believe it will be an exciting period for our business and a rewarding one for our shareholders." The half year announcement is a nasty surprise bearing in mind what Mr Richards is quoted as saying. I sold out at 22.95. Made a profit and will move on.

I agree completely tinload, unless it was being taken over by a similar type of business.

Still trying to work out what`s driving the SP, other than the fact that its in a growth sector and is a v well run company.
