If we look at the opportunity here on a worldwide basis the 100k doses a month won't be enough.

I think RM's reference to 'government' support is to bring awareness to the market that most other companies who have developed a covid treatment or vaccine and received a regulatory approval have had large government orders and this will be the case with SNG and will allow much larger manufacturing capabilities.

There are huge numbers of trial sites being used in the US for Activ inpatient and other independent trial programs for covid. Then there are all the other trials for non covid drugs. I suspect there is too much competition for sites.

PP, I have mentioned this before A2 P3 progression, I think will produce a significant rise in SP as it will show that SNG001 is reducing viral load early in infection phase. We don't yet have this data in any of our covid trials and it is the only endpoint we can show a significant signal in as safety is largely proven and efficacy signal will be weak due to trial size..... and yes I agree Sprinter gets us to submit for EUA before Activ-2 but it is not a distraction it is a significant derisking event.

It’s just a method for automated filling of a syringe, a manufacturing process. If for some very remote reason it doesn’t work they revert to their original method. IMO there is no way this is holding up the A2 decision.

Next week will be 8 weeks since SNG completed enrolment in A2P2. The decision will come soon. I do hope for progression but I have a feeling SNG want to target the hospital cohort and be the drug of choice when people arrive at the hospital door so may choose not to continue. All in my opinion of course and there are many good reasons for them to stay within the A2 framework as well, more data etc etc.

I doubt it Fruits. BFS is widely used and is the preferred method by the FDA for packaging sterile products under aseptic conditions.

There will be some testing required as part of regulatory approval but not for a trial where they have already producted commercial scale batches with this method.

Doc, With a very quick google search you will find many instances where Polygon have blocked takeovers, even when company directors have recommended selling the company if they feel their investment is being undervalued. I am more than happy to see II investment in this share. It is normally your best protection against a cheap sale of your company. The PI holding is still too large and I hope them and others continue to accumulate.

I have not yet found any instances yet where they have bought shares on behalf of another company and taken a nice big golden handshake although I will continue to search.

Hopefully doesn't take them as long as their vaccine to get approved in the US!

TL/FRUITS, They are going to need to buy a much larger holding than they currently have for scenario 1 to work. 12% isn't going to be enough for that to work.

I believe if you look at their strategy page that they see the dislocation between the SNG market cap and the potential of the drug. Simple and they are making a play on it.

The other very interesting point to come out of last week was this...... "Company will initiate a programme aimed at securing a marketing authorisation for SNG001 to be used as a broad-spectrum antiviral for patients admitted to hospital with severe viral lung infections"

Many have worried about SNG being a covid drug only with hopefully a fall back on COPD if the P3 failed or covid disappeared or vaccines made treatments redundant. The company stating it is developing a clear path for the future of SNG001 for not just covid/copd but for treating ALL hospitalised patients with severe viral lung infections. For me that is very significant and I was glad to see this highlighted within the interims.

Presume it’s because the post hoc analysis uses approx half of the patients in the trial and it’s the only way they get a statistically significant result so there are still some questions over the dataset. Was this group less severe and therefore perhaps less likely to die? Who knows until there is some kind of peer review or full data published.

DFS is down for completion in CY2022 according to Newcrest and GG so will happen in the next 15 months. No time at all in the big scheme of this project.
