They were last time AA. If a discovery is made then extensions should be given by default unless any contractual commitments have been missed. Hopefully the government are closer to needing the gas time and are themselves more committed.

But I do see indications as to the answer to that question. Again, imo.

Chris, if people purchasing today are fully funded for 3 drills and seismic, how does that balance off the dilution from 14% to 4%? Rough figures only, but you get my point. A genuine question and not a loaded poke.

The lack of pr around the farmout says quite a lot imo. I dont think they are particularly interested in the markets and this is more of a 'private' affair. Funding will come from the zubairs with dilution to pi's in either a loan secured against the assets or a % of the asset for cash. Time imo is the most important factor as to what's left for pi's. I'm not sure the government are in a rush for this gas (farmout time?) and they generally control the timetable - quite easy for delays to happen which will only be to the benefit of their supportive cornerstone. Very cynical I know. I reckon the primary objective for ntorya from the government perspective is to contribute to the supply of the Uganda pipeline which is some way off. Domestic demand is covered for now by already producing fields with (minimal but enough) scope for increasing production. All in my opinion, but too much miscommunication and muddy waters for anyone to invest today.

I think Ntorya is the only game in town and the rest is a sideshow where nothing will progress. I'm only expecting news relating to ntorya as it comes and funding details.

Exactly my thoughts too crusty on every point. Add to that possible delays and I just thought it better to watch from the sidelines for now. AEX need to be able to set their own destiny - at the moment they have no control over it.

We've left the EU on very thin terms. To say it's over is naive and I dont mean the binary in or out. We are out. The deal is poor and kicks the can down the road.

Nobody is listening to each other. There will be a 'border' in Kent to check goods going to the EU. If you are not going to the EU then that border is irrelevant. If you are going to the EU and dont check-in at the 'border' in Kent, then once you get to the 'hard border' you will be fined 300 quid. Hopefully that sorts it? Happy new year all :)

Funding is an issue. You say that in terms of obtaining, but funding wont be directly targeted at the asset. There are general costs to keep things going so timing also comes in, as seen for quite sometime now. That timing, if prolonged, means cost to shareholders. IMO they need to sell ruvuma asap and look for shorter term gains. I think that's obvious and the lack of action is quite worrying in terms of offers available.

When I spoke to IR, they said it was a communications strategy that they regretted and was just to give shareholders some belief light was around the corner. Pretty shocking really obviously nothing in writing and no response to a text I sent later pointing out it encouraged further investment post farmout based on those comms. I'd lost my dog the night before and should have been much more critical at the time, but my mind wasnt in the right place that day. Decided to sell up the next day until there is evidence AEX has some control over its destiny. Happy Christmas and gla in the new year :)
