I'm not going to comment on that except to say your posting has been refreshing calling it out the way it is rather than the rampety, ramp ramp. I don't post much as pointless as these boards are exactly as you describe them. I wish you well with this one :)
Maybe he just realised there wasn't time for the placing shares to clear and they'd be selling hard to clear as much as possible before spud. That's exactly what I thought and made a few quid that I might put back in. Just protecting profits.
Could be a while yet. Those placing shares need to be sold and they'll be happy with anything above the price paid. They won't want exposure to the drill, but hopefully already in profit with the amount they've got away above the placing price
GSA is part of the current work package. Not sure about the 25 year license and how long that would take, but you'd think before first gas (ignoring that this is tanzania!).
They will probably want to drill other wells before first gas in September 2024. Why wait with a drill on site and the 3d data in-hand.
Always horrible when you write things like that and then read it back ;)
I should add, that was totally speculative on what the situation appears to be. If there is a possible offer awaiting 3d results, everything in hindsight will make sense. At the moment the bod seem like rabbits in the headlights.
It may be a ridiculous offer, but the bod need to do their job and make the right decision for scir. If there are no other interested parties and the alternative is funding and wiping out existing holders, what do you do?
