i had a good relationship with ed once and i do genuinely believe at one time he was in it for the right reasons but the leap gaming fiasco and the sitting pretty while lorne's mother was offloading her shares was the nail in the coffin.

not to sound like a victim but jim owes us and he owes us big time.

he created the fund fast forward off the back of a book he wrote. he sweet talked small private investors into parting with cash under the promise of giving them opportunities in companies they wouldn't ordinarily have had exposure to due to his knowledge and contacts.

he and lorne ended up having a shocking working relationship and jim never even used to mention fast forward at his own master investor events including ignoring my questions regarding it when i asked him face to face. "ask lorne" was his answer.
