Elon Musk predicts 50% boost to Model 3 battery's power

Tesla boss Elon Musk predicts that his company will be able to mass produce electric batteries for its Model 3 sedans with 50% more power in three to four years' time.

"400 Wh/kg *with* high cycle life, produced in volume (not just a lab) is not far. Probably 3 to 4 years," Musk said in a post on Twitter.

The prediction was made ahead of the company's Battery Day scheduled for 22 September, the same day as its annual general meeting.

According to South Korean battery expert, Park Chul-wan, one of the images provided by Tesla may hint at the use of silicon nanowire anode, a new technology that could potentially increase the energy density of batteries as well as their life time, Reuters reported on 4 August.

Earlier the same day, Panasonic told the same newswire that it was planning to improve the energy density of the '2170' batteries used in the Model 3 by 20% in five years' time.

Has reached a 61.8% retracement at this prices, so a good opportunity to get in. Since they are nibling at 2.99p

What is going on with the order book?
spread 23.90 v 24.30p
and the 16.35 UT came up with 9 shares at 25p

Some funny things are going on, despite the sells the 23.90p bid has held and then all of the sudden, came out small size trades, one after another total 7.356 shares bought at full 24.30p

What a false market it was this morning
the spread was large 24 v 25.60p at opening

The order book got into a mess as someone put 1,000 shares on the bid side at 25p, and someone else ( or the same person ) was lucky enough and able to sell 10K at that price, so another one put 6,500 shares at 25p also, so another 10K sell and took both bids at 25p away as an "AT"

A bit of a shake since and further MMs movement, maybe earlier too busy with the MAIN market.
Just now WINS was the only one at bid 23.90p with 15,000 shares and after 928 AT, was left with 14,072 shares, but now has gone completely from the order book, not bidding or asking on the side.

WHAT? a £1,000,000 buy

It is BREAKOUT now @ 252p

not sure about big buys showing,
but the bid certainly is improving all the time, so it must be some buying on the background, and reported later.
We are getting into Breakout territory, though not intraday one yet.

yes is ready for a move up, demand in the background

some large size buys earlier, lifted the shares, but this did not last as in my accounts the shares are not YET ready for that bounce back.
But there is a point where always the shares have a rise, and that is the case now.
