Maybe a little tenuous but I feel there is. There are those that want to stop a hole in the ground because of their environmental concerns, views being obstructed, wildlife, etc. Yet happily destroy miles of seabed, constructing an eyesore of a Brobdingnag size.
Yet oil will be lifted somewhere and shipped over here creating greater environmental damage and a financial cost and burden to the country, the money we could be saving to use on a plethora of needs.
I believe some of the activists may be posting here, they certainly don't own stock.
