Tui are legally obliged to compensate so passengers will get compensation. We are in Turkey at the moment and TUIs flight cancellations to and from Dalaman has been horrendous over the last 3 days. There reputation will be damaged by this. No problems with Jet2 flights whatsoever. The compensation bill will be huge.

No disrespect as such to anyone but it makes me laugh reading what some people post on here. The vast majority of posters on here post such utter meaningless crap. They have absolutely no real idea of how the market relates to TUIs sp. But it does keep me amused reading what they have to say. I just hope that no one is taken in by their drivel.

Dropped to €2.70 ( £2.28 ) at close yesterday in Frankfurt. Obvious drop today.

This dropped much more than other travel stocks so maybe something specific to Tui?

Not looking good for Tui as regards Mordashovs attaching to Tui. This issue is becoming more and more prominent.

Ps ---- Turkey , Egypt and Canaries are big markets for Russians.

With European airspace closed to Russia , not sure how big the loss to Tui Russia and hence Tui as a whole will be. Just whenTui is recovering from Covid we get this maniac from Russia threatening the world.

What happened there at around 8.40? All travel stock suddenly dropped between 2 and 3 percent? Can't see any specific bad news !

Obvious there was going to be a big drop today purely down to Ukraine tensions. Luckily I sold on Friday and bought back in on today's drop and managed to gain around 850 shares.

The option is there and approved at the AGM. They wouldn't have put it on the agenda for no reason. The level of proposed hand back to the German government in April would have been known at the time the agenda was drawn up so my view is there will be one more dilution just to enhance the recovery as that debt is huge.

Correct me if I'm wrong but at the AGM havnt they just voted in favour of another future Share dillution if it is necessary?

Forget about dividends , there won't be any for a long time. The debt won't allow it. It makes no sense to pay dividends when so much money is owed to third parties. Let's be realistic and not get carried away as some on here are.

Well it's certainly boosted Easyjet and Jet2 , pity it's done nothing for TUI. Yes should definitely have followed my instinct and sold on yesterday's high. Ah well that's investing for you. If we knew what was going to happen we would all be millionaires.

Debated wether to sell right at the end on 259 ---260 and come back in on any drop tomorrow. In the end decided to hold and hope for a rise tomorrow. Could go either way but just hoping that the level of bookings are good enough to raise the sp. Bit concerned though regarding TUIs last update which intimated a possible large Ri !

Tuesday not tomorrow!! Whereas bookings seem to have gone up , i dont think they have exploded as was anticipated. Hope i am wrong though as Tui in particular need a massive increase in bookings to kick start their recovery.

There's only one way to workout your true average. It's straight forward. The total amount you have invested ( which could include amounts made from dividends and re invested ) divided by the amount of shares you have. That's it. It's as simple as that. Yes you can increase your holding by short term trading and making profits and then buying more shares with those profits without increasing your outlay and by RIs. But to have an average under £1 is very very unlikely unless you have been extremely lucky which I would say is unlikely. Not sure where Justbeing gets his sp figure of 135p from in 2020? It's not been that low. Look at the charts !!

I would say its very highly unlikely that anyone has an average under £1 !! Probably means £2 !!
