20bn valuation did not net off 3bn assoc debt so 15bn v 17bn. The valuation is just speculation, gets it away and then values the VT element in a measurable way.

Dividend cash cow and price range up to 120-150 with upgrades to 170 regularly. There is always a trading opportunity. Just pick your entry and exit and average down.

Solid company. Oil price and oil demand recovering. Write downs may be seen as prudent. Any rights issues may be seen as positive. Gonna fly someday once the review is out of the way and the writedowns become a distant blip.

Monday - down to 120/1 (FTSE up 166). Yesterday hit 146, settled at 141. What news or rumour drove this price action? With the opening up play on Monday I expected the polar opposite. Is there a suitor in the wings, cash crunch, another issue or fund raising. Any news out there as I cannot find it? LTH DYOR.

Been a bit quiet and no denials from either party. Looking like an agreed bid perhaps or at least a statement with the reuilts saying bid undervalues the company. Sky is impeccable with these type of leaks. DYOR

Picked up a few for the ride up and the juicy dividend. If the market supports 1280 that is good enough for me.
