Not worried perma bear. Certainly not going to sell based on a rumour and even if the report is bad, or taken as bad by the market, it never lasts.

The issue for me is the risk of covid interruptions to production or a shutdown but I will take it in my stride.

the US has been acting internally with flights throughout and the infections are no different due to flying.

Live and let live. The customers will be fine as they are just as much as risk at home in a restaurant than sitting on a plane for a few hours.

I have been on 10 planes thoughout the pandemic and all were fairly packed, masks only and a free for all at the baggage reclaim.

Get over your fears and live life.

I won't be booking either unless it is a Titan holiday and certainly not the mass holidays nor to the EU. I would go to India over the EU to be brutally honest.

TUI relies on the masses and that works out well at this point in the cycle.

It is a bit like the lockdowns. Ways around everything. It is a tick to get on the plane so a few quid.
For most, as long at they get to the destination, they will not be too concerned about getting home.
Most (cetainly those affording £2000 pp hols) have rainy day funds to get by should the worst happen.
If not they would not be holidaying in the 1st place.

The issue is the risk personally of catching covid and being hospitalised or one of your family / child ends up in hospital. But that is covered by insurance.

If scared stay at home, if not be prepared for a few additional costs.

Wellbeing v money. wellbeing comes first.

Tests are quick and cheap. Many school kids are doing this weekly in the UK at the moment. The fact that there are so inaccurate is never considered.

You have to remember for the majority of the population a holiday is buy a dream any year.
However for those that can afford a holiday this is only an incidental cost that will not prevent the decision to get away.
Many are chomping at the bit to get away and millions are in a better position financially due to enforced savings and top of the list is HOLIDAY.
The main reason not to go, other than covid would seem to be a wish to avoid overcrowding, drunk and feckess and facilities not opened. The higher end market will not care a jot as will the booze crowds.

Should support prices for the holiday firms too.

Long term, who knows but short term it is FOMO.

Not amazed as the FOMO will drive this towards, IMHO £6 are the airlines open up.
The moves will be great for trading.
I believe £5 SP is a given shortly.
