It is a bit like the lockdowns. Ways around everything. It is a tick to get on the plane so a few quid.
For most, as long at they get to the destination, they will not be too concerned about getting home.
Most (cetainly those affording £2000 pp hols) have rainy day funds to get by should the worst happen.
If not they would not be holidaying in the 1st place.
The issue is the risk personally of catching covid and being hospitalised or one of your family / child ends up in hospital. But that is covered by insurance.
If scared stay at home, if not be prepared for a few additional costs.
Wellbeing v money. wellbeing comes first.
