TUI Group H1 Loss Widens, Revenue Down 89.2%

TUI AG (TUIFF.PK) Wednesday reported first-half group loss attributable to the company of 1.474 billion euros, wider than 861.4 million euros last year.

The company said its results were materially impacted by the suspension of the vast majority of its tour operation, aviation, hotel, and cruise operations as a result of the global travel restrictions.

TUI posted a sharp fall in first-half revenue to 716.3 million euros, from 6.638 billion a year ago.

Hope the move down was not a leak. I doubled my holding sub 90p

Great to get back in at 90 from a sale of over 106, just had to dip back in.

Feel that the mms are picking up stop losses as it has been such a controlled drop which in itself was strange.

Ditto - any news out there?

Momentum is upwards imho. Certainly not adding at these levels as I have all I want but will add on sharp drops eg if Indian variant goes global or general market rout.

Currently, SP is 3 times my av price and £5+ is not much of a stretch tbh.

I will continue trading and averaging as I try to do with all stocks. I trim my positions on most short spikes. That is prudent.

This is the Fibonacci 76% level which would be the fail-safe for my bull case. On the daily chart (not shown), there is a building momentum divergence and chart support just under the current £8.60.

But I believe odds favour the current £8.25 low to hold firm. £13.7My first major price target is the 5 wave 1 high.

Lends itself to a steady rise in share price as the list expands so will the share price.

If all was opened at once the travel would pop and drop.

Started last year around 30p 35p bought sold dodged and trimmed. Anyone could have done the same. No point in sitting still when the price is volatile.

LT holders as i said I feel your pain. Had plenty in Marconi Ferranti and Energis Colt and others over the years. opportunity to average down at least if you have faith, if not take a hit against other gains.

Always average down your average cost from 100% towards zero and beyond then the investment has protected your capital.

I reduce on all spikes and rebuy back lower when the spike settles.

I do not always get it right but most prices retrace - spikes or crashes.

Just a great stock to trade with outsized daily moves and so much s-t upside before profit taking sets in.

I was fortunate with my timing to add more at 121 the last dip earlier this year. It reversed within hours and hurtled upwards since. I continue to trade at these levels, trying to increase my holding by reducing some on moves up.

I see this around £3 when the estate is fully functioning again.

Patience is the key.
