FRES is the gift that keeps on giving, but on dips trim & add and nice dividends along the way. A LT investment for those will a rollerocaster mentality.

May sell a few on the way through £9.50-£ 10 to keep the wolf from the door.

Cannot see a flotation ditch to cosy up to abdrn plc. Too many share options and £ to be lost out on by II managers.

It they do accept then II must deem the float as a turkey, but should be good for abdrn either way.

Seems a strange one though for abdrn.

With no shutdowns on the run up to Christmas, party season underway and social events near normal this is one to tuck away as the clouds for me are gone.

Expect it to end the year much higher than these levels as the party people pick up their supplies easily.

I do buy from Moonpig too, but have been disappointed by delays in processing with cards arrving late even though 1st class used. That said they have issued a full refund and credits so their business model has given me 3 free cards in the last 6 weeks.

This business, online is a nice addition gaining incremental sales, but nothing beats buying that special card / item when passing after the grocery shop.

The Pfizer "pill" is a game changer for travel an opening up due to the easy administration of rolling out in the 3rd world and mass p[opluation countries that the West has largely ignored.

INHO it signals the start of the end of the pandemic and looking out the markets will remain bouyant for the next 6-9 months climbing the wall of worry to new highs while the FED - BoE remain cautious not to upset the apple cart.

Oils and commodities are the winners as well as travel confidence returning.

At some point the music will stop and then look out below, but that time is not yet it seems.

Cautiously optimistic for year end and for travel into 2022/3 but dips and buying opportunities along the way so I am building up cash ahead of the drop that may never come whilst staying largely invested.

Been a bit of a dog recently with little incentive to add. No decent pop for a while nor a drop and just toxic arguments from the usual subjects. Ramp v bust.

I see disappointment with targets and being overtaken and delays, but with a 17.41 current average I have plenty of time to wait for the improvement which will come in time.

I enjoy your posts as they are valid & temper exuberence. The nasty attacks are easy ignored and I too will get labelled as a deramper in league with you etc etc but as you and I know we are not a tag team.

Sundezena seems to apply the buy low, trim and add on weakness so I accept that too. Robren - it is not just me who works that method.

I have managed to get my average down to 37p at one point and having ducked and dived and added more in the belief the recovery will come that average has increased but should I sell at a better price that the recent purchases 145-164 I will end up with NIL cost shares. ie a holding bought in full from profit.

This one works well for me but not to buy and hold without trimming.
