you should be in a similar position before and after and can improve you average by taking up or selling rights when it occurs. It should not be feared here.

Once it settles this will be a doozy to trade subject to funds people have but it sure will be on a sounder footing.

My read across is the 2 euro cap does not affect the consolidation. It is simply referencing that the max repayment re WSF agreement is capped at 2 euro ie a max payment of 957m

The actual amount to be repaid will be determined by the SP movment detailed above but restricted to a max of 957m if the SP (prior to the capital increase announcment going above 2 euros.

The dilution I assume you mean the rights issue - is nothing to do with the WSF repayment. The consolidation has been made to get the WSF monkey off their backs / reduce significantly the debt and allow recommencent of dividends.

RI, not as yet announced (but as you point out ready to roll - although I still think later in the year to raise more funds (would prefer it done now to get on with the new paradigm we have to trade with).

Fun and games on Monday when the trading recommences.

I expect that is the RI is not announce immediately, the market value will hold arond the x10 price as people wait for the RI details and presumably this is favourable / well discounted so I do not see selling until it is known.

This could potentially already be at the bottom for the year and roar upwards once the uncertainty dissapates.

initally I thought - rise over £2 goes to £20 and then a big drop for shorters on consolidation whilst waiting for the rights news.

As the price has drifted, I have just added to my holding to gain extra rights as today is the last day to do so (preclose)

so my slide rule say 164p , probably 160p x 10 = £1600 and I am more comfortable at that level.

Hoping for great terms in the RI when it comes, a rerate and dividends and off to the moon again.

personally I like Carling and magners - as regards the drift I guess wee Nippy's priorities and EU invasion have changed the demand profile. They need to do a reengage with a new contract with Wetherspoons.

nice trading in around the 112 to 124 ranges before the next move up. Nice and tight to buy and average sub £1 and then hold.

I like TIFS and CCR both vastly oversold on a 12 month view.

no idea about this but tempted at 50p range perhaps. Not one for me but GL

TDF the time to buy was before the rise imo.

The start of the day it got to 210 before dipping to 180p and then recovering to £2 and now retracing. There may will be profit taking which could take this back down to buyable dips but it depends on your strategy. I never like buying on a strong up day and usually trim positions in case of a pullback opportunity but even if Apollo that the heads up I see 170/180p being support.
