Not an expert on ECHO and I have not had time to read the 400 (....) or so recent posts, but I have to wonder who is selling at 4.50p? Seems to me the baby has been thrown out with the bathwater on this one. It's not like ECHO had one single shot at survival (like so many biotechs) and they missed the target totally. However recent price movement implies this is the case. Traders will probably make a packet on this (as they did on SOU, when it dropped to 12p - and then the investors who sold all the way down to 12 probably bought back in up to 24p) - traders 1; investors 0. Welcome to AIM.

Re the stability of the dividend - I'm not sure introducing a large SBB programme and then immediately following it with a dividend cut makes sense. Who knows what management may decide, but doing that makes them look rather stupid IMO.....

I cant access either but would very much like to know what it says. Huge fall warranted or not? Up today I see, but unless you bought in at the bottom or thereabouts not hugely interesting.

Despite previously confirming that liquidity was adequate (....), management do a placing at a poor current price AND offer warrants at an even more ridiculous redeemption level. So 2p is now the medium term ceiling per management - and with further dilution when it reaches there. Not great, is it?

Is $10m relevant to this company? If yes, some investors are being somewhat flippant about that debt. Spent 3 years working in the region and saw a LOT of companies come and go. Contracts with the government and government bodies mean nothing when it suits them, and AAOG is not exactly Total or Elf. Reputational risk? Not really an issue, as the country has little reputation. Don't want to rain on anyone's parade but, as said, if $10m is actually relevant to operations, bear the risk of a prolonged non-payment in mind. Of course, sense might be seen (as sometimes occurs) and things work out totally fine, but....

Been looking at ACSO, but every time I check it has fallen again. Down 11% today ATM after about 40% (?) last week. Apart from CEO stepping down and a levelling off of growth (but still profitable), what is spooking the market from 3000p to 750p (.....)?? Preceeding factors mentioned are important, but.still....

Happy to see you are deliriously happy over a price rise of a few pence (which may or may not be due to a SBB announcement, now 4 months overdue - surprising that). It shows that, unlike 99% of SLE investors, you entered at about 22p. Congratulations. Despite having more initials after my name than a Tolstoy novel, my entry was at 50p or over. So, unlike you, a rise of 2p really doesn't do it for me. To ' 50p and progressive dividends'!!

And please everyone, ireespective of sides on this share, lay off the racist comments. It only demeans the site. If we all met in a pub, we would probably be the best of mates.

I don't hold ENQ ATM, but continue to follow the company with interest. However I like to read BOTH sides of the argument. Holders might not like what certain other posters are saying as it does not fit in with their perspective on the company/industry, but as long as the other posters are not being verbally abusive it is probably in their best interest to continue reading all opinions.

Personally I thought oil would shoot up with the Iranian sanctions, ignored arguments saying otherwise, took a huge position and have lost (very) heavily so far. Perhaps I should have listened.....

'Utterly redundant history'........The company announces a potentially significant SBB and the share price goes.....effectively nowhere. Why? Because, due to the 'utterly redundant history' of the company, no one believes a word management says (and is two suspensions in less than two years an AIM record?).

Warrant a 50% fall? I can't remember a time when cigarettes were IN favour. And while the debt is high, are we saying the acquisition was valueless? And UK rates are what - less than 1%? Hardly stands up to a 6 to 7% yield. Probably a great time to buy for first-timers. Holders just need grin (....) and bear it - have a smoke and relax.

My - this collapse really does not stop, does it? Cutting my fingers badly on a falling knife ATM. Cannot really blame Brexit concerns etc given the international source of its income. If anything, I would have thought investors would be more focused on an income play with good global outreach. Got that one wrong so far......

The company said in September that it expected the buy back to commence in October - it's now almost February. How long have you been invested? If prior to the second (...) suspension you should know what I am referring to about broken promises. If after, listen to your elders (....).

There are reasons why the SLE BB is monopolised by a small number of die hard SLE flag wavers. One is that most holders have given up on the share. The other is that anything vaguely negative is met with verbal assault. As you have again shown.

Dividends, anyone?

Was in ENQ a few years ago and considering another crack of the whip. Been reading tru a few pages of posts and have to admit that this Ponzi guy has been closer to the mark (whatever his agenda) than many other more positive posters - no denying his 14p is a lot closer than 60p.... Shame - no one likes to see a company down. In any case, I still give the company a miss until there is actually positive news.

There is a 16.67% spread on this tiny share so some institutions presumably make good money on these activity spurts.

Bought in at 50p a long time back. Wake me up when we get back there....

I wish people would stop referring to 'genuine' investors, as if anyone who bought in during the past 2 years or so wants to see the company fail. I have held Tesco for well over 7 years - does that make me a 'genuine' investor or a total mug who has clung onto a non-dividend paying share (until very recent) whose share price has fallen by about 40%?? All investors who hold SOU shares ATM are genuine investors (be it for a day, a month or 5 years) - it's not some sort of elite club.

I hear you, but when I see a 12.5% spread on this one I know who is making the money (whatever happens). Anyway price up today, so that is good news.

Hard to know what to do on this one at this stage. Hugely down since original investment (and my worst performing share for 2018), with just about all aspects of operations/ commodity pricing being disappointing. Even stopped payment of the small dividend. Efforts at averaging down have been nonsensical. Suppose it 'might' be a buy at the current price (someone seems to think so today, so far) and the new venure might go OK but hey, haven't we said that before. Poster boy share for AIM.

Nice to finally see some % movement in this share, but with a price average of 19p (......) and no wish to increase exposure, really can't get too excited at 10p. As happens so often in AIM, paid very well to be late to this party.

Been in and out of this share for years - always a trade, not a hold. Sold out totally a few months ago, got back in (way.....) too early and already hugely down. Said it would hit 59p but forgot to listen to my own advice.. The life of a PMO investor/trader is never easy. Bag holding again for a few months. Like many, I imagine.
