Now comes the chicken and egg part, re Mokopane and its imminent mining right could the delay be purely down to an additional deal stalling the news ie as part of the mining right X amount of production would be designated for Eskom partnership but currently that has still to be agreed so releasing news of either the mining right or Eskom contract would be revealing information not currently in the public domain. Don't think i have conveyed it clearly but hope you get the gist of it.

my thoughts being the market would be more appreciative of BV growing organically from its own current cash generation. Standing on its own 2 feet, self funding with the prospect of dividends from next year would be the way i see it as set targets are met. Can the company pay a dividend currently given its intention to increase production, acquire brownfield site etc?
lemur sell down and return of monies would be simpler given all that is happening under the Bushveld umbrella.
That said, reading BBNs post i'm probably a million miles away.

Listening to Fortunes interviews of late I thought that the talked about dividend may possibly come from the sale or part sale of Lemur with the monies paid out to shareholders and like Afritin, Bushveld holding a minority interest.

Alfacomp, I know you are very close to the share trades and price movements of Bushveld. What is your take on the trading the day that the lse platform was down (don't recall the date i'm afraid) as i believe there may have only been 6 or 7 trades the full day as quoted by londonstockexchange.com. Given this it looks like this platform is being utilised by a persons or persons for trading the share which would fit in with the views that the sp is being played with.

Furthermore, if it does result in such a good deal for the company, funds should be raised at a premium to share price. As someone pointed out, big institutions would drive the price up buying into the open market so this allows them X amount of shares at an agreed price. I wont hold my breath though.

Price quoted was below other sells around the same time so would think it was a sell.

what is the company currently doing with the equipment that is being replaced as part of the 3 phases of increasing production at vametco? The phase 2 completion video states that the secondary crusher has been replaced along with another item that is hard to hear so this coupled with the completion of phase 1 would suggest that there is in fact equipment available to utilise at another site albeit not as efficient as what has replaced it.

Regards bushveld energy, could this form part of the plan following the placing several months back to 'simplify organisational and corporate structure'. It has been well discussed that a Sojitz buyout is on the agenda, given the murmurings of a listing in Africa, the importance of BE to Africa primarily and further afield and the plan for Fortune to highlight the inherent value of BE is it beyond the possibility that once BE is given a financial value within the bushveld stable that it may in fact be spun off like Afritin giving route to an African listing.

A company can initiate a buy back if it feels for whatever reason that its value is not reflected in its shareprice.
