Don’t know what I’m missing here but what are these big institutions seeing that us as PI’s aren’t with this level of backing??

I mean come on, the numbers are pretty resounding for a company that has crashed and burned in the metric of shareholder value (I know stan I know, please don’t repost that bloody document again!..)

I think it’s getting to the time to look at this investment and have a bit of a chat with myself..

I think it’s getting to the stage where APN might be calling as the grass going forward seems to be significantly greener over there..

Sad really as the brand is great but the way that it is managed from top down, well frankly beggars belief..

Nice thought in principle but it’s the major holders, the institutional investors here that hold the sway, really makes me wonder at times that there is not more public unrest from them, certainly in light of the averages that some of them will no doubt be sitting on. Please don’t tell me that all these analysts have fallen for the ‘jam tomorrow’ story, like us mere mortals.

I know historically for some insane reason he books the day off ‘work’ to pour over the Capita results, looking at how we seem to be showing a few positive shoots of growth and optimism then I might just do the same..

On a serious note you can now start to see the joined up thinking with these contracts for efficiency and value for money and the foresight and Adolfo getting these industry players on Board, looking good me thinks for the future.., the forward statement should be interesting..

Since the first musings of the attacks on Saturday morning you have continually ( all weekend by the looks of it) ‘glorified’ the financial angle of this dreadful conflict..

I’ve come across some unsavouries over the years but you really are up there on your own..

Just read through the information posted on The Register’ regarding Sopra Steria and the case that they’ve taken forward regarding the government.

Interesting that they’ve taken this line particularly in light of the fact if they have other bits and pieces of contracts with the government , seems to me to be a rather heavy handed approach to business but I guess when you are fighting to keep your business then I guess all is equal in ‘love and business’, some big numbers mentioned there, secure that and we really could be off to Donny Races..

Unless I’ve missed something major, no noise this week on the inherited ‘pension debacle’, i’m assuming Capita have just got their heads down and are dealing with things in a professional and resolute manner.

Looks like a lot has been going on in the background over the last few months and Capita have been ‘front and centre’ of negotiations for the work, get this sorted and it could really open up a gateway of opportunities for the future, I always think back to the team of industry experts that Adolfo has furnished himself with and with many vested share options they are not just here for the ride, they are here to actively affect real time change and progress and the financial rewards that come with the associated progress..

Perhaps the worm is just starting to turn after all, ducks appear to be lining up and progress really happening.

This labour administration may be many things but I’d like to think that a robust tender process has been run and that there are no skeletons in the cupboard with regards to the process, we’re a long way off Halloween in February.

Appreciate tension’s are running somewhat high in the Middle East which may well have a ripple effect on Monday but hey that’s life, though the general outlook does look positive..

I appreciate somebody (War Monger Field General AIM) is doing their hardest this fine Saturday morning to feed to doom mongers, just come back when you can spell Opening - I mean, for the love of god ‘OPENNING!!!’

Going on the figures below it looks to me like things are certainly moving in the right direction with the numbers below showing as moving significantly in the right direction and ultimately people getting answers to questions and pension resolutions..

Somewhere along the line which started as a ‘significant negative’ for Capita if Savages rabbit could be ‘pulled out of a hat’ here, then going forward this could well show us in a positive light as let’s face it, a ‘few’ posters have tried to play the negative card fully here but the facts don’t lie in terms of the complete and utter ‘mess’ what Capita inherited..

I guess the radio silence from the 2 resident ‘village idiots’ tells you all what you all need to know..

Must be ‘upsetting’ for you as well Savage as the share price appears to be getting away from you again..

Whilst I sympathise fully with the lady in question it would appear that the previous incumbents have somewhat not covered themselves in glory, but then again that’s not your narrative here is it?..

Just doing the Saturday night browse in between the break in the snooker semi-final and lo and behold one of our esteemed beauty brands is currently being promoted on channel 16 on QVC..

We’ve made it onto TV!

Never realised what such a high end brand it was and is looking at the prices..

As always the presenters are waxing lyrically about what it can do for you.

Just for the record I am a ‘1 account’ private retail investor with a substantial holding..

In time I can see things panning out to the positive upside though I do question how he puts himself across in front of the analysts..

Perhaps he should reinvest some of his cash into participation on a presentation skills course..

I was always told that sometimes it’s better to say nothing at all- a skill sadly he is still learning somewhat..

When I saw Mike Ashley’s name mentioned with regards to the ‘potential’ large share purchase it somewhat got me thinking.

I wonder what his take is on the current state of events @ THG?, just got me thinking as he has been a fierce critic over @ Debs / Boohoo ( what’s in a name?) for some of the ‘corporate governance issues’ where here we have a CEO who somewhat sails a bit close to the wind with some of his actions and a set up that is tantamount to a ‘closed shop’.

From recollection I’ve not heard Mike Ashley call Moulding out in any shape or form to my knowledge, perhaps in this case he just thinks ‘good on you my son’ or something along those lines..

Would be interesting if he showed his hand in public somewhat..

Hi Scobee, I managed to read it with no paywall just typing in ‘THG Investor Chronicle 7th November 2025’, the article came up and I was able to read it with no restrictions.

I thought a balanced article which gives ‘us’ hope for the future

I tell you something there’s a lot of scrambling around this morning in this board..

Just looked in, it really is sad beyond belief the lengths that some people will go to try and do a share down.

I don’t know what kind of lives some of these people lead but I’m so glad that mine isn’t like that.

With all of the challenges that some people have to face in their daily lives through illness and such like ( I think some guy on here has mentioned his cancer diagnosis and treatment) you should really hang your collective heads in shame- you know who you are..

A big few days / week coming up for Adolfo and his team.

Let’s see if this positive vibe that he was showing at the AWS sales conference or the like and last weeks duvet flip transpires into cold hard progress with numbers to back things up, great doing it in those environments, it needs to be delivered for the long suffering share holders..

Like I said last week we are now at a junction where we need to see cold hard financial progress with Adolfo now 18 months into his tenure with his team around him who he has generally brought along..

Lots of snippets of positivity out there, let’s ‘hope’ it transpires in the morning though the last week or so share price performance has been an obvious cause for concern…

I’ve got everything crossed…

Really looking forward to next weeks half year results..

I think we are now 18 month’s into Adolfo’s tenure with great progress being made on many fronts but obviously lots and lots more to go at..

Let’s hope that last weeks performance of the duvet flip is a precursor to some positive forward direction, he was certainly in a bullish mood on his performance in front of the camera last week citing many of the positives that are now in place with Capita..

Let’s hope last weeks ‘talking the talk’ transpires into ‘walking the walk’ next week with some positive cold hard positives laid out and positivity for the future..

Is this too much to ask after 18 months at the helm..
