Yep, the Rubiales mine was the other Zinc/lead mine, just up the road from Toral, which ran for quite a no of yrs & left a lot of mess behind. Had a look @ the taiings for samples, of which there were many. This recent SP action has a familiar look about it - I really hope that LR is not tempted to do another Placing - which is not necessary. Imho. Dyor. Gla.

Exactly Manro, and why wud you bother anyway with the Kallaks, wen you have Kiruna , just up the road with 80-100 yrs of mine life left , having just moved the whole town to build a new shaft !! All high grade ore, in massive quantities.

Why annoy the Sami, when you have that - and it's not as though there's a major global shortage of iron ore at the moment either ? After all Australia is virtually made of the stuff.

What about the REAl business to hand ? Raising enuf money to get the mine going again, then selling the Sapphires at a decent price. That's all that matters right now - not making sure that a bunch of Financiers (the BOD) are nicely wedged-up !

He also says that they wud access the high grade zone via a side Adit or a decline - not from the top of the hill, via a vertical shaft as "shaft mining is often the death of small mining companies".

So clearly mine planning is also someway down the road too and in Leon, they have some VERY capable mining engineers, who are keen to get on with the job.

It maybe that the Scoping Study arrives faster than LR initially indicated (Q4) ?

Yep, the problem is that its highly likely that a Swedish Company will be allowed to buy the Kallak licences for very little money (LKAB ?) and the mkt is finally waking up to that fact. You cannot believe how Xenophobic the Swedes really are. But they are, believe me !

If you buy shs in BEM now, you have to be a strong believer in Graphite.

If all else fails, they can always borrow the money and take it into production. Banks wud b happy to lend on such a World Class project. Then they could pay "Special Dividends " to shareholders and any low-ball baggers can bugger off !

Yep, it was an old Family Run mine and they just mined it when the lead/Zinc price was high enough. Left a massive, messy spoil heap too, with plenty of good samples and obviously access to unextracted ore, through the old mine portals, which can b sampled.

Seems like still plenty of sellers around in the "Dog Days" of July though. 18m just gone thru. Buyers are nowhere to b seen.

Well, this looks a lot better - decent drill results from the 1st Major holes at Abbeytown, though the grades cud hav been a bit higher .

Shows the possible extension of the mine "Footprint", beyond the old underground mine, which they are also about to drill , at depth. New mineralisation is quite shallow too at 150m, whilst the presecnce of 1% copper in the cores, may be indicative of a wider presence of copper at abbeytown, as postulated a year ago on the Field Trip by David Hall, the technical adviser and 22% shareholder in Erris. Cu may occur along the Ox Mountains fault , to the south of Abbeytown and is obviously heavily in demand for the EV & power Generator business at present.

Early days, but encouraging results, and the "Herd" have not yet arrived. "Only" 31m shs in issue too, so wudnt take much to move the SP.

Why would a Company want to delay it's HISTORICAL Accounts, and then change it's FUTURE reporting dates , just to include a Financial Transaction ? It makes no sense at all. The financial events in the accounts are HISTORIC after all and any current transactions would be included in the Future Accounts anyway. So why would you need to change the Future Reporting date?

Smells like a major screw-up, or worse, to me. I wonder if the SP will ever re-list, because if it does, I think that it will crater. The state of a cos Website is usually a good indication of the Professionalism of the company. And MAFl's is pathetic and uninformative, both at the same time.

Lombard Odier & Richard griffiths still seem to be there though, at least according to the official HZM website, so maybe it isn't them.

And yes, we are still a LONG way from production, though the PFS Should make a diff to the SP , if the numbers look good. There aren't too many Nickel/ Cobalt deposits of this size and quality, proved up to this level Globally anyway.

One thing I forgot to mention after the Manchester Meeting. LR said that Euz are also further exploring the "Antonia" Zinc/Lead Mine, which is just across the valley from Toral and rumoured to be part of the same geological structural system - or at least fairly similar. It was worked for about 10 yrs by a family company and then closed, with reserves still "in Situ", together with extensive spoil heaps.

Euz have been into the mine to take further samples and examine internal structures and also to analyse geological samples in the spoil heaps. this may cut down some of the work required at Toral (& the expense). It may also be that if they like wot they see, they could purchase the minesite for a small sum and re-open it. After all it only closed because the Zinc price collapsed 10 years ago & several old, non exhausted Zinc mines are currently re-opening in Ireland, with the current price of Zinc. (This latter suggestion is speculation on my behalf and was not actually mentioned by LR - although there WAS a raise of the eyebrows when he mentioned the mine ). A nods as good as a wink, to a blind bat, as Monty Python once observed !

Please don't confuse this with the "Lago" licence area, which is 100% owned by Euz , and is currently undeveloped or drilled and also 30km away from Toral. It could, in due course, provide a 2nd string to the Toral bow, if Toral proves worth developing.

If the CEO or Chairman of a Company won't converse with Shareholders, (or even answer their Emails) that is usually a VERY bad sign, Seen it too many times elsewhere on AIM - and it NEVER ends well.

They usually go on and on diluting shareholders with endless Placings, then have a Company name change and a complete change of direction and Shareholders lose everything - e.g. Forte Energy.

If you want to try an Ex Ed Nealon vehicle that at least has an outside CHANCE, try BZT or EUZ, but this looks like a complete pup to me. The reason I like the above mentioned, is that Ed Nealon no longer has anything to do with them !! I think that he is well past his "Sell By" date and am now out of RLD, as a result.

Well, I though LR was Very positive at the Manchester Meeting and I haven't seen him with body language like that before, and I've know him for over 10 yrs , in a Professional capacity - BEM, Tern etc, where he was pretty hopeless. I personally think he has gone though a new lease of life and its simply because he has a proper job to do at last, with both Euz & Bzt, instead of just fekking around with PR Crud, as he had to do , in the past.

Sometimes these things can change a person - I've seen it many times before.

This IS a new Company though, despite wot BB says, as most of the original FCR shareholders hav either sold , died, or been diluted to oblivion. So here, we are, with a clean slate. Directors have skin in the game and a potential World-Class Multi Metal Asset to prove up.

I remain cautiously optimistic, even though I too , lost money in spades to the delightful and highly competent JT !!

Interesting also that LR mention that he was going to hav a look at Shell as a possible partner. end -users as JV Partners/ Buyers seems to be the way that it is going to go.

I note that BP bought Chargemaster in the UK yesterday as the UK's largest supplier of EV charging points, for £130m.

Looks like goldfields may have missed their chance ?!
