Phase 1 commenced in February and phase 2 (production) was scheduled to start April 1. So presumably preproduction was the tests for a choice to be made and they are ready to go as soon as.

Wonder as it was a repurposed drug whether it carried more commercial risk waiting for the patent from an interested party point of view. If so it is no longer an issue.

Thought this would be fundamental for any deal to be completed no advantage if a patent cannot be offered

Greg that’s wrong the 18% only applies to phase 1 preproduction, phase 2 is £374m for 50m tests, no test costs £6 to produce. Phase 1 revenue is repaid in phase 2

Preproduction is those tests required prior to full role out to the general public so for quality control tests hit like FIND

The pre-production orders will carry a margin of 18%, pre-production payments will be made and then under Phase 2 the authority will recover the pre production payment throughout first quarter charges.

Interesting the Liverpool rave was for 5000 so 10% would be right for the 500 number
