Ha, a bit cheeky but I’m sure they will still ignore you as they can’t give you insider info like that!
Only 10 days until resolution 4 and hopefully accompanied with an explanation for this resolution.. this hopefully should also go on to explain the reason for terminating the arrangement with Stellar after all it was only on 19th Sep that Peter Hill, Global Petroleum’s CEO, commented “It is clear that oil and gas industry interest in offshore Namibia has accelerated greatly in recent months” and only in the June quarterly report it was announced “The farmout process is still underway following renewed interest created by presentations conducted by the Company during May 2018, with data room participation continuing into July.”
We have ‘read across’ from C1 which produced significant quantities of oil at the source kitchen. September, a few days prior to the C1 results GBP stated “Our immediate obligations can be completed at relatively low cost to us, and the potential advantages of read across from drilling activity by other industry participants are clear.” There is no messing about in this statement from our board.. the advantages are ‘clear’.
Following the results of C1 Garrett Soden CEO Africa Energy said - C1 not a disappointment but an opportunity for investors.. It was a geological success, WE PROVED THE PLAY, encountered a 50m thick submarine fan but no 'accumulated' hydrocarbons. - 'Wet gas signatures, indicative of oil, were first encountered in the overlying shale section and persisted throughout the target interval, indicating that there has been significant hydrocarbon generation in the area.' This clearly means as far as Africa Energy are concerned, and surely Tullow being their partner in C1, in our new PEL 10 block (now 94), the play is proven and as far as our board are concerned, this is the same play as PEL 29.
Adding the information from 2011 – TRP CPR
2.3 Oil seeps/slicks
The NPA report discusses a number of oil slicks in the east of the 0010 Licence, which they categorise as evidence that either oil was generated near the Namibian coast, or oil-spills from passing vessels, or seeps from a trap alongside gas bubbles. They note that the slicks are not over any closures. In our view the report is a useful indicator.
This is around the read across location announced by GBP, East of Pel 10 (now 94), now a ‘proven play’ announced by Garrett Soden CEO of Africa Energy.. it ‘now’ fits perfectly as evidence that oil was generated near the Namibian coast and evidence that migration has occurred from Pel 37 – C1 drill.
