I predicted it would double by June but that was when we were at 35p. Very happy to be wrong about that. This share is crazy so it could be as rewarding next year as this year was. I think if afc fulfil 50% of their potential this will be a brilliant company. And then I can retire. Thanks afc for a crazy ride so far. And thanks to everyone who knows loads more about all this than me and shares it on here. Here’s to next year : )
Bsinkers, I did something pretty similar just recently. I tried to time the market and ended up losing 30000 shares. It still very much hurts. You’ve kind of made me feel better about myself. I’d made the decision in august that this was a long term plan and my brain went back on that. On the whole I’m so glad I chose AFC :)
I think afc makes sense in every way. There are definitely factors that I don’t understand that make things much more complicated than my first statement implies but to my eyes this looks a really positive company to invest in. For me finding a ethical stock that can help me secure my financial future and help fix a huge problem environmentally is amazing.
I want to see the sp rise as much as anyone and I am obviously disappointed it’s not took off yet, but I think it’s easy to become pessimistic on days like this. Lock down is bound to have a negative impact for a period and it’s not like many other share prices haven’t suffered. Everything is still in place for afc to come good.
Are we not in the position where this has to be tested in real world situations and if it is successful the notion of AFC’s products will become a desired product? People with a lot to lose have put their faith in afc so that has to mean something. Afc are possibly still a bit before their time but not much. One way or another we are going green. Huge wind farms have/ and been built ( last night on bbc 2) I know it’s been along time for many but this feels like afc are really part of that change. I bloody hope so anyway as I’ve no pension!
