I’m happy with the share price. I didn’t expect the sp to be where it is until June so I’ve very happy in a way. Where does getting frustrated with the sp get you? Things will happen when they happen and it’ll be fine. Afc won’t release any news for the benefit of impatient share holders. It’s the beginning of the year with loads of great news to come. Why make this painful for yourselves by getting frustrated by something you can’t control but think will happen in time? Chill x
People people people! Stop bickering. I thought we only lost our minds when the sp went down? When people put research on here it’s great, so please carry on. Let’s live with each other’s idiosyncrasies. Peace.
Scarpa50, yes, AB mentions it in a interview when they first announced the EE collaboration. It struck me that beyond that I didn’t know anymore and that I’d missed something. I hadn’t heard ammonia been mentioned in relation to EE. Green ammonia or solar would be equally good. Maybe both?
I believe if the acconia trial goes well it could be huge. I work in construction and have seen projects held up fo a long time due to not been connected to the grid. Afc could well be the better option and cheaper in many cases helping projects to finish on time. So, basically, afc could be the temporary power supply and then the actual power supply for the project. From what I can see a ‘green reputation’ for a construction company is very important and effects who wins projects. If you combine that with what could be the most cost efficient option construction would lap it up. I worked on a project in hull where a green space was incorporated for the development park as part of the project. Afc would have worked a treat there.
In the interview AB said ‘we are not in talks with car companies about putting a fuel cell in a car, but in regards to charging the cars - well that’s a different matter.’ (Not exact quote :) on first hearing that I took that that he was actually in talks car makers just not in the way he thought she’d asked. Did anyone else pick up on that? I don’t think didn’t actually ask about fuel cells in cars.
I maybe young (43, I know not young) and idealistic but can’t we all just be friends for a day?Is this arguably the most significant day for afc? They’ve delivered. I know there is a long way to go and many ups and downs, but this is a great day. This day could be so significant for our planet and our attitude toward it. Oh yeah, and more importantly hopefully the share price will go crazy and make me rich!
The sp is still nearly 10p higher than than it was the first few days following the abb announcement. I’m not sure what metric people are judging where the share price should be right now but that seems ok. Are things not just as positive now as just after the abb announcement? I admit I’m relatively new to this but isnt that the same brilliant news it was on the 16th dec? I remember how this board reacted with excitement then, but now a few weeks later it’s all got very pessimistic when the only thing that has happened is a few weeks has passed.
I think we need to have some perspective regarding what the sp does over a short period. To a fair degree it doesn’t matter what the sp is now. It’s what it is in 6 months to 2years surely? The fundamentals of the company will be reflected in the sp in time. Also, itm sp Oct 7 312p it then fell to 227p by oct 28th. It went up then down and came back stronger. Don’t be pessimistic about the day to day sp, be optimistic about the company afc can become.
That is probably the best thing you’ve ever written. In a sea of crap that might be the post with the most crap. You don’t actually mean for your posts to be taken seriously do you? If they are meant to be taken seriously and you’re paid to achieve that, then you are at a minimum overpaid. I think we should all be a bit patient. 5% up or down is nothing. We were at 18p in November. The company has so much coming up this year so let’s just wait for it to happen.
