Upon the news of the initial take on of the gold tribute mining, the pre-cursor to what went on to become Calidus, the share price hit around 1.6p. It's been down down, deeper and down ever since.

I think that was the post Anglo-American/Mebaga high.

@mil09 - I am confident enough to state that AxCap has absolutely zero interest in our Togolese concession, their focus is solely in North America.

If Togo ever lands (and generates a return), it will be a complete bonus. They will not be providing any knowledge, expertise nor inside track in Africa.

Contrasting the trades of the last few days, and the volume that has led to the bid price trailing down to 0.08, I am of the opinion that there is something untoward going on.

The price pressures are inconsistent against a back drop of an external organisation obtaining a 17% position in a company.

It'll be interesting to see over time whether our new cornerstone investors are happy to sit back and enjoy the ride, or whether they want one of their own people on the board. With a 17% holding, they could certainly try and apply some pressure to have an insider on the Exec. board. I'm sure that intentions will become clear in due course.

The majority of that 7% was on the market, so would have been below 0.12p a share and probably closer to £650k - which is really just nitpicking (so I'm sorry!) - but the main point is that it's a huge amount of focused buying, and consolidation of capital into 'one' hand - without that buying reflected into the share price. (Which I think is the point you are equally making!)

Likely just around finance liquidity. I think you'd already mentioned here or on ADVFN that FU in their own right aren't super cash rich, but leveraging a VC that has a vested interest in FU allows commonality of a voting block with (broadly) common interests.

On one hand, shocking how they managed to accrue a 7% higher position without that pressuring the share price up. On the other, the stickiness of shares has just grown significantly, and so price pressures must become evident should they wish to extend their position.

Not 100% sure, but although they were allocated to brokers - they were 'sold' to market investors at 0.12p

Given the 0.12p pricing, I'd say invariably linked to the share issue.

Good. I think the number of shares on issue, and the nature of AIM / share price movement on nominal trading is detrimental to our overall valuation.

As an 'in production' company, it would reflect far better on us if we're not quoted at a 1/10 penny and would likely lead to a bit more 'stickiness' and price stability. Especially at such a paltry MCAP.

Let's just say for arguments sake we were to decide enough's enough with Nayega and we were to wash our hands of it. To achieve shareholder value, we opted to try and sell it to a (Togolese) company that may have a better change of achieving the permit (does Gnassingbe have any relatives in the sector?!)

What do you propose a fair value would be? The plant is on site, the operation is good to go - it literally just needs that Presidential stamp.

I'd say it's a certainty that FUR want a larger, controlling or wholly owned stake in our phosphate asset.

With the current depressed share price, an aggressive/hostile on market build of position could turn out to be an exceptionally cheap way of them facilitating a takeover, too.

There must be an option to sell raw product into wholesale/manufacturers, rather than having to perform the mass market processing in house.

It just seems common sense.
