Sounds like the reply you received was almost word for word the same as the reply I received, Robsky.

I am quietly confident that *all* holders via nominee accounts will be frozen out. The prospectus is quite specific about direct purchasing and avoidance of brokerage fees, which by definition freezes out *all* brokers - and so if you are a holder via a nominee account, you won't exist on the company share holder register, and are voided from application.

Unfortunately, it's quite normal - albeit frustrating for those of us that are substantial holders via tax efficient wrappers.

I have emailed Dave Reeves for clarification, but I think the pertinent phrase here would be, 'don't get your hopes up'.

From reading the prospectus - it does expressly rule out brokers purchasing on behalf of their members. It is a direct purchase scheme, with Calidus and removing any brokerage costs - and I think - therein is the problem for those of us that are invested via retail brokers.

I'm seeking clarification on that myself - but based on my reading of the prospectus, that's how I believe it is.

Putting Calidus position firmly into light, the share price is currently sat below its listing price in real terms.

Float was at 2.5c a share, and then consolidated on a 10:1. A share price of a dollar is essentially a 4 bagger on its initial list price.

Even more sickening when you position it like that.

We've sat all through exploration, plant construction and ramp up, and holding a share worth less than it was floated at.

It would categorically not be in my financial interests to exit at ~$1. That would very much fall into the 'sit tight and take dividends' category.

I can't believe we're now in a situation where we're reflecting on the likely hardship of Calidus hitting a $1 a share. That's utterly f**king galling.

Here - unless there's massive sell off on AQUIS, or a massive seller in the background - I can't understand how we've dropped a whole penny inside of 24 hours, against the trades on the LSE.

Re: Calidus - I'm licking my wounds. I am deeply unhappy with developments at Calidus and how Dave Reeves has managed this. I'd set myself a notional exit of $2.25 and thought it a reasonable target as we completed plant set up and moved into production. Now facing an extra couple hundred million shares on issue - I don't see us getting close to a Market Capitalisation that could deliver that share price (ever) - barring extraordinary resource discovery at Felix, Blue Spec, via Pirra Lithium AND on Warrawoona.

We have an offtake agreement lined up (with the company we did the bulk sample with) that will fund/enable kick off.

It's a very low cost project to commence, using a turnkey operator, payable on supplier terms.

In this case Prop, what you say is true - but maybe a little on the harsh side. I don't believe the BoD of CAI can be dinged too hard for the perfect storm of Covid impacted resourcing AND high clay content at levels *above* the assay cores.

The fundamentals of the project(s) remain the same. I'm not delighted to be sharing the future wealth with a larger pool of shareholders, but I'm not sure whether there were any viable alternatives.

$20m Capital Raise. Disappointing, but not devastating dilution.

Suggestion Macquarie are supportive of being flexible on the debt schedule and so total restructure is not necessary.

Fancy wording aside, this is a raise to see us progress to full self sustainability (again, that's not in and of itself a terrible thing) it's a symptom of the water issue / high sub alluvial clay content that hadn't been expected.
