Seems that way longtimeinvestor - maybe a symptom of the modern era, blame everybody except yourself and deflect it with a bit of whataboutery. Personally Lloyds has been a great stock for me, but only because of averaging and a great divi to boot. Looking to offload 30% very soon, sure as eggs is eggs there will no doubt be better priced entry points to bring the average down even further, but the 1 million buy has given some food for thought.

The chair bought 1,000,000 shares on 23 February 2024, at a price of 45.4925 pence per share - seems to have been largely overlooked on here. Maybe 50+ is on the horizon.

I share your thoughts exactly Oneb. At the moment I have my finger on the buy button, but unsure what next week will bring. This should be as low as we should go, but Ive been burnt many times with HBR and still chasing my average of £336. Still, the divi's are good - so far.

Question is? Will he wait until the Wintershall deal is completed, valuing the company much higher, or make some sort of counter bid to maybe try and stop it happening? South America or Europe, or maybe both - the latter would be interesting, maybe this is where we are heading.
