No question about it, lab grown meat will become the future. Just no way everyone is going to give up meat and go plant based.
Main questions really are cost and timing. I think at present its not cheap enough to produce and peoples mind sets arent their yet, but in time, there is no other choice really.
Bad news which can affect share price under AIM rules has to be disclosed. Assay results which were poor would be a share price affecting bit of news and a REASONABLE investor (is there such a thing...I joke) would take that into account.
Actually both positive or negative results need to be disclosed if it could have an affect on a companies share price/value. While mostly this appears a concern if someone was to sit on good results, as it could give them the opportunity to purchase more stock below the real value of the company and thus count as market manipulation and to an extent insider trading, the same is still true if the results were negative as it could result in an opportunity to sell stock off at a higher than true value price.
Given both of these are well known to everyone sat in a BOD position, the most likely answer is either no news to report just yet OR news incoming soon.
@Daza, indeed on paper the BODs role is to increare value for the shareholders and certainly vocally this will always be the official line taken by a BOD ...HOWEVER.. most friends or indeed just people I know who are at BOD level behind closed doors will tell you increasing the shareholders asset value is not their main aim. Aim 1 is usually increase their own wealth, aim 2 is usually create a long lasting, good company that they can be proud of. The natural by product of both aims is often a resulting increase in SP. Most BODs are shareholders so by proxie helping us helps them and vise versa.
Hate to interrupt the party but Dazaliam's reference to a day trader stratergy is again a correct statement, thats if the strat is still used anyway, which I have no doubt it is.
Their is a famous trader who has likely now made as much from his books as he did trading that always brought big in last 30 mins of a day then after morning hype rise would sell and dump. This was back in the late 90's to early 20's but I am sure the technic is as effective today as it was then.
Is this the case with the 12mil trade, we will see. Personally I dont feel it is, but even if it was, doesnt change anything for me. I still see some distance to go in Kods share price and as with all shares I own, I fully expect day traders to be in on them, and why not, I have zero issue with others making money.
Hes winding you up, but is factually correct too. I believe its the idea of £1 that made the post open to this. £1 without a consilidaton, as you questioned, would give you a Mcap and value, maybe 4 dozen times over all the lith in the ground we could ever mine.
Sure in 10 years, loads of new mines onboard it could happen, but if you think it could fly to £1 with what we got, it might be wise to read up on stocks as will save you losing a lot of money, unless if course we had a consilidation, although even then I dont think it would go to £1 as that would be what??? 200:1 con or something close to that.
Music, take your covid stuff elsewhere. This board is for stocks. You dont like amazon having your data, dont ever use them. Simple. Your the consumer and you create them their wealth. Its worth noting those like David Ickle have made a fortune out of peddling this stuff. So rather than go on a board about a lith miner and go on about how you think its a storm in a teacup, go sit outside his mansion and debate it with him.
Personally I feel people have got bored of the talk and need action. Recently trading updates are very hyped, 600 mil in the pipeline etc etc then not much comes through.
I feel its got to a stage where overall the market now needs to see more FCs etc.
Today however is a prettt bad day for most stocks. So many reds around 5% down in tons of sectors.
Motley fool isnt worthwhile mate. Literally spam mail stories. On a Monday share xyz is greatest ever, on tues its the dogs dinner and by weds of that week its one for the pension fund.
Flipping a coin is about the same.
@Almostdone, not that PHE is focusing on this as a selling point but it can create elec instead of Hydrogen, so if the hydro market wasnt there it could revert to elec as a current model.
That all said I feel the Hydro market is there for buses etc. One unit can provide the fuel for a medium to large towns bus services. Not every town will switch straight off of course but there will be a few which do as a pilot scheme if nothing else. That gives you your start. From there it should grow naturally.
For me, I see a DMG unit or several in each large town or city operating like a recyling centre, with a re fuel station attached for HGVs. Same as protos is having.
Removes cities waste plastic and powers said cities buses lowering the eco footprint by a decent amount.
