If and it’s a big if due in part to some of the problems Bellers alludes to they could try in part once again to use alluminium as a conductor more widely, then the price of alluminium would probably rise rapidly due to the extra demand potentially negating some of the only benefit of trying to use it as a substitute.

Acechaser I agree, the way I see it in my simple mind,using the old house purchase analogy, surely it’s a bit like having a survey done on the property in question and then making an offer on the property “subject to” the electrical installation being tested or whatever. So long as the necessary work is carried out satisfactorily it doesn’t really affect things too much. Newmont are obviously on top of the situation.

Gwm I assume in your watching and researching you have come across the Lassonde curve, it is a historical study of what can and often does happen to exploration companies in a similar situation to GGP. It’s been posted on here many times.No guarantees but it does make sense, to me anyway. It may or may not cheer you up.

I have been told confidentially this morning, so I shouldn’t really repeat it but hey ho what they gonna do? And this comes from someone very qualified, that all the tests are now complete and the decline has started in earnest.

The doctor says anymore full English breakfasts, biscuits,chocolate and Coniston Brewery Old Man Ale and the decline will just accelerate so I’m off out shopping now with all them on my list.

Based just on the PFS and just gold an extra US$500 per ounce would be

160,000 oz x US$500 = US$80,000,000 per annum EXTRA by my reckoning.
