My personal opinion is that they wont be able to DIRECTLY implicate PFC in many, if any, of the SFO matters.

DIRECT bribery can be extremely complicated to prove, let alone indirect bribery via UNAOIL via indirect employees and subsidiaries

That said, thinking out loud, maybe thats the SFO's play, to keep drawing it out until a DPA is financially better than proving innocence

What you would find if Lupkin was talking is that he would NOT have been charged with any many offences. Once he is charged and then talks any evidence he testifies is pretty much useless as there is clear bias. Also if they attempt charge anyone alongside Lupkin (for the same or similar offences) his evidence is totally void and he becomes co-accused.

So the procedure would be to offer him a deal based on testimony before charging, then charge with lesser or no offence/s, using said testimony to then prosecute a greater case

I think its due to PLUS being oversold...its still 72.7%! off its 52 week max, its expected to take some of its competitors customers in the long run, plus better dividends than the competition (even after the expected cut) AND has strong large scale buying support (ODEY, JPMorgan etc)

PC I share you option on divi reinvesting That combined with whats looking like the sellers drying up at this level and shorts reducing should see a reversal and some positive momentum

What we really could do with as well, as you know, is a big contract win and some director buys. Does he normally reinvest his small dividend? ;)

For me the worst case is already priced in, what the market needs is clarity. Regardless of outcome this will move on clarity. The question is when will that come?
