Not me - Told never to put all my money in one share so spread my money over two shares....Both collapsed within a week of each other. Urggghhhh
Down to 40% in here, 20% in two others and around 3 4 or 5% in about 5 others. Feel safer this way.
I was in here much more until I realised what might happen and took a big chunk out which has done very well for me so in a happy place again :)
BH - Before I go any further, I am invested here....
When you say we haven't heard any bad news I would agree with that regarding WN.
However we invested a lot in Parta - 1st the JV fell through, closely followed by acidisation and clean-up ongoing, and we've heard nothing since. And that was a month ago.
Now that is bad news in my book. The investment in Parta was not insignificant.
itisallagame - I am the same as you. Been in AIM for about 6 years and still trying to work it out.
Recently in a share where we have been waiting months for THE RNS. Got it and the SP rose 5%, then dropped over the day to minus 5%. At which point the same people who were constantly ramping "10p when we get THE RNS" came on to say "It was already priced in".
The same week, another share I had been in for a few months and was thinking about maybe selling, jumped nearly 20% for no reason. It certainly is all a game :)
HLM sometimes when multiple parties are involved the so does what it wants until an offer is made. It is announced via RNS and your shares are worth that much. People may then sell, dropping the price, or buy, expecting a counter offer that is higher, and the so rises. And on and on until the company ask the shareholders if they are happy to accept the current offer. Probably suspend the sp while vote goes through.
I think it's different here - Offers from multiple parties have been assessed by UBS as all dealings going on behind closed doors (NDA). Final offer has been agreed (hence Piper on board) and this is being legally binded.
First we will know is RNS to say shares suspended, best offer is x per share. If the shareholders vote to accept you get that per share in (insert days, weeks, months to get paid).
Until then sp wobbles about as people buy, sell for whatever reason.
That's my guess but wtfdik
I sold half of my EUA a while back to invest in 'others' and although I flap every time I see the red dot (thinking damn, I should have left it all in here) the fact is I'm 360% up on those other investments. If the big one came 1st thing Monday I'd still say "damn I should have left it all in here"..even if it 3 bagged....crazy isnt it?
PS if one of my other investments doesn't do as well as i think it should by Friday 29th, I'll be selling that one to put it back in EUA - assuming the EUA big one hasn't arrived by then.
