Yep, me too, bought back in, 65p might not happen again.

Scored.., I sold out on monday with a small loss.. Should have done it on Friday when price broke out of support, I was so trusting that news would soon that I held on a bit longer. I don't appreciate being lied to by the company, several days delay my ass. If it does drop to 65p I will buy back in. Good luck, I do think it will do well in the end, but its a dodgy business that can't even get simple dates right.

Blackswan has a theory that SLE could go into liquidation in September. Apparently, $100 million in cash is going to be abducted by aliens in September so you should watch out in case, so Toscafunds's 337.4 million shares is going to be worthless, as well as everyone else's as SLE share price goes to 0p in September.

Price is boucing back strongly, will see how it looks on close, but promising so far. Good for those topped up first thing this morning to be in profit already. Wouldnt be suprised if Tosca isnt helping themselves to some more at these prices. Practically free,given the cash holdings.

All looking good charts wise, price is holding at consolidation levels, and the opening sells on the RNS were quickly bought into indicating demand is there under the surface. Even though news was expected by tommow, a few more days is hardly anything to worry about, especially as not much anyone can do when there is severe weather.

Not long to go folks. Hoping for a strong rally when news comes. Could be a good time to top up while things are quiet here, but DYOR. CAn never tell with share whats will happen, even the good ones.

Support was broken last week on the 21st, which hinted at a possible big move down, which came today on a gap down. We have found support at 2020/21's support level which appears solid. Fundamentals at the price basically value the company at nothing. Will be interesting to see how the price develops later on today and over the next few days, but I reckon we will see a strong bounce back.

Just topped up. Zero debt, cash in the bank 100 million, market cap currently £102 million at 21.7p. market value for all of SLE assests worth 2 million.

The Maths is not hard, buying now could be highly profitable. DYOR of course.

At price of 21.6p market cap is £98million. Cash in the bank is 100 million.

Basically that means, this should be the bottom, no point selling at his price if that had crossed your mind.

Dividend Payment

On 2 December 2022, the Board paid a dividend for FY2022 totalling $25.6 million, equating to 8p per Ordinary Share, to shareholders on the register on the record date of 28 October 2022.



Dividend Policy

The Board has reviewed the Company's Dividend Policy and effective 1 July 2022, the New Dividend Policy will be able to pay out a minimum of 40% of adjusted free cash flow for the financial year. Where annual dividends are declared, these will be paid in two tranches with an interim dividend equating to one third of the forecast full dividend and the final dividend equating to the remaining unpaid balance of the minimum of 40% of actual adjusted free cash flow. The payment of dividends remains at the discretion of the Board.

Ex-dividend next week, 3 March 2023, of 3p per share. Expecting price to move back to 115p+ as dates approaches. I got in at support so its been a good trade for me so far, looking to sell near the top for a quick profit.

Thanks Bazzaman. i bought some yesterday as price dropped to support levels. I am become better at waiting for support levels before I buy in instead of buying in much too early. SLP is super cheap, so I'will be topping up first thing tommorow, hopefully the price hasnt jumped it yet as it usually does on a ST tip.

Price is now at support level. You will unlikely get a better price than this if you want to buy in.

Price closed above breakout and we had strong volume too so breakout is confirmed. I'm expecting upward momentum to continue until the RNs arrives by the end of this month, just under 3 weeks away at the latest, plenty of time to hit that 110p price target. If one had bought at support at 65p then at the price target would have doubled their money. Will be interesting to see the price reaction on the day of the news. If price has already hit 110p before the RNS and gone above it we may well see some pullback on news day but if we havent hit price target yet than the RNS day will mostly likely push us straight through it. Long term price should rise above 110p+ as new gas projects enter production.

Yep, can't complain, agreed can't win them all. However, due to position sizing I lost only about 12 percent of my total equity so I won't be too hard to recover from.

I've been here for longer than a decade, although mostly active when I first joined, followed by a long, long gap, and only back when I restarted trading in stocks again. I highly recommened you subscribe to Stockopedia(4 week free trial), as it has been a game changer in my stock trading, since a a year ago when joined. That's how I discovered Jadestone. It came up in my screening filter in Stockopedia. The chat group over there also has some excellent posters, sharing expert knowledge and experience.

Nope, no connection to my profession past or present. its actually connected to a Real time strategy PC game called starcraft which I am fan, they have marines in them as combat units, and being superman fan, the clark comes from clark kent, hence the name.

Looking at the charts, I see a price target of 105p for the short term, which I suspect won't take too long now that the RNS is a week or two away. Long term, who knows, but increasing production oil/gas can only increase net profits and where profit goes so does the price eventually. I see Jadestone as a safe share, at least as safe as shares can be, plenty of gas and production.

I took a bit of a risk on IOG, given the the company was in net debt and not net cash, and when I traded it in October making a tody sum, but had to give it back in the recent drop. It was a gamble which didnt pay off. I sold out and put it in here.

Charts currently consolidating, and if we close at this price that will confirm a breakout of this consolidation, boding well for the next two weeks.

What a mess. Luckily I didn't go against my rules and buy more before this news came out. Beforehand, I had thought because of the size of the last drop that most of the faillure had been priced in and was expecting something like a 20 percent drop as worst if news was bad, but it just goes to show how unpredictable trading/investing in stocks are. I was correctly postion sized, so while I am down a lot in this it hasnt hurt my overall capital too badly - lost the battle not the war so the speak. The problem is that when one is emotionally invested, and the more one chats in here and does research than emotional investment increases, that can make rational decision making more diffcult.

However, how should one decide whether to sell your position here or not? Is this the absolute bottom now that the news is out. Obviously it would been better the cut losses early before it snowballed into a car crash, but I personally will hold for a few days to see how the share price reacts from here. I reckon this is the bottom,but will have to wait to see if it continues to drop heavily tommorow. Price seems to have settled around this level, as it has most of the day. But I don't think we can ignore the fact that the we have market cap of just £25 million for a gas producing business no matter how crap one feels today.
