RE: Aim oil/gas shares21 Nov 2023 10:00
Dickupham, I was thinking more about AIM oil/gas shares not the rest of AIM. There may be a handful that have gone on to do well, but the mass graveyard of aspirants that have promised the world but have left investors penniless are too many to name.
But I do agree, good research matters, and I'm no so good at the fundamentals as yourself so I leave that for the experts. There is place for trading though in highly volatile stocks, and this is one. It doubled in just a few days on the first farmout news, then drifted all the way back down again 3 months later.
As I I've mentioned, I think the sweetspot is to be a swing trader. Thats is to hold for an intermediate period of time. But thats just me. There are many successfull traders and investors.
Cuphalfull, hehe, only a fool would sell nwo with the 2nd farmout "around the corner". But feel free to sell if you must, I'm sure I can scrape a few more bucks behind the sofa to take those shares off anyone's hands.
Good luck all, we all here to many some dosh. JOG is a good share imo, otherwise I wouldnt be here.
