Topped up again near 13.5p support, with the proceeds from JOG. Had to wait 2 weeks for a pullback to get this entry though.

Don't know when its coming, but the farmout is definately coming don't worry. This is Char's first farmout so expecting a biggie here. To repeat ST, "This could easily double on announcement". I've been following ST for ages now, and he is usually much more cautious about how long it would take for the price to rerate for the share he tips - but his proclaimation that the rerate would come on the day of announcment is interesting....

ICB888, people sometime confuse the work immediately with the imminently. Well, it does depend on context also.But I think in the context of the markets, a few months still fits my defination of imminent.

Having said that, could be any day now :)

I don't want to mention the share as I've been called a cross ramper before, but there is one that has a imminent farmout due, and which could "easily double on announcmeent" as Simon Thompson puts it.

Its makes sense to have a little diversificaton in ones portolio, otherwise its like sky diving with a parachute, hoping for a tree cover.

Greener101, putting all your eggs into one basket is a interesting strategy, one that has worked luckily for Dick with SQZ, but repeat that strategy more than once, and it can be game over before you know it. In a casino the best strategy is to bet the lot on the first go, and then walk away for good, any more goes and the house sooner or later take it all back, usually much sooner.

But be careful of confirmation bias, especially from posters who post here daily for years, who will say just about anything to encourage his "investment" to go up.

I don't think scored is wrong in saying that the price will likely do nothing for years now that the major catalysts have come and gone, and the next one is the drilling. And speaking of drilling, many things can go wrong, drilling in the wrong place, uncommercial flow rates etc...

If you're happy to take the blue pill by all means, but I've taken the red pill a long time ago.

Chart wise, price hasnt held at the intial rally, let alone broken out upward as I was watching for. it doesnt mean it can't still happen, the likelhood is much lower imo.

Ianfer, it touched a whisker from 27p in April of last year....sentiment is still good here. It's when sentiment is wrecked, that price struggles even on good news.

Farm-out in Morocco close to concluding

The key take from Chariot’s (CHAR:14.75p) interim results is that the Africa-focused energy group is close to concluding 'farm-out' negotiations on its flagship Anchois gas development project in Morocco.

Around 40 companies are interested and Chariot has received multiple offers from significantly larger exploration and development (E&P) companies. The offers are based on an upfront cash payment and Chariot retaining a material stake in both the offshore Lixus and Rissana licences, in which the Anchois project is based.....

Not quite Duster. I'm still monitoring the charts for a potential flag pattern which would indicate futher upside on a upward breakout. Price appears to be consolidating around the price I sold it, so I may re-enter with smaller position if I see a signal. Too early to tell though if its consolidating, will need a few more days for that. Thas's the great thing about swing trader... I control all the risk.

But don't worry though, once the momentum subsides I'll be gone for possible years(probably until the time when the drilling starts), like I did the last time after multibagging here a few years ago, and similarly with CHAR, which is is now just getting very interesting with the imminent farmout.

Also, JLP, has potentially reversed, a strong candidate for a 4 bagger.

I've always said that my fundamentals are not as good as my technicals. That's why I leave that side for the pros.. the real ones, not the pretenders. I've multibagged many times on many different shares over the decades, I can't complain. I've certain I've had big successes and failures. No doubt, some have gotten lucky on the single share that they've invested in most of their lives... who wouldnt have struck it rich on Apple, Microsoft...etc... and belived that success was down to their amazing intellect... They got lucky good for them. I more than happy to here personal successs. What I don't appreciate are personal attacks... typically the realm of the amateurs.

Good luck here, I hope you do well, but if it should all go pearshaped , as it often does -( Ive seen many "great" shares go under.) no matter how good a share you think, then you wil know who to blame.

Not really indi123, I am just trying to figure out why I didnt get my 2/3 bagger here as I had expected on FO news. I will be back here when the time comes, as I have been many times in the past. GL.

JS... not much unfortuntely while the windfall tax rate is still 75%, and won't end until 2028, assuming it doesnt get extended. The energy levy of 35 percent on top of corporation tax of 40 percen, could be suspended if Brent drops below $71.40 for sustained period, but what with the never ending wars that the US wages, that's not very likely.

Look at the share prices of SQZ nand HBR lately, and that's why the 2 bagger here didnt happen on FO news.

Not forgetting what will happen if Starmer get elected...all new wells could be a no show..

Just bought in. Bullish reversal signal on the weekly charts, and a breakout on the daily from a tight range.

This looks like a perfect entry point if you werent sure when the best time to enter was.

The price has recovered well from the lows of 20p. I was tempted to buy, but still had lingering concerns about management back then. Things seems lot better now.

Interesting that the gap down in JUly has now been filled and a 3month base has formed. I'm looking for a pullback to back get in. Happy to pay a higher price for a greater certainty of success.

Its a great resource for research shares and has a vibrant private forum with highly knowledgable traders/investors and expert daily analysis of all the small caps by Paul Scott who is the Simon Thompson of Stockopedia. ST, tends to focus on energy and mining stocks, but Paul's coverage is more wide ranging. Its also got superb stock screening tools, and is a fairly cheap subscription. Its quite amazing, some people spend more time researching what toaster to buy and yet spend their life savings on shares without next to no research.
