Sorry the actual clause is “The ESA can be terminated by the Company at any time and by SMC on the occurrence of certain specified events.”
So they could have started T3 got some cash and then terminated it, but they haven’t.
Why???
Jiving, just because you are wedded to this thinking doesn’t make it true.
Zanaga could have issued T3 at any point since end of March and there is a clause that allows the “termination by the company on the occurrence of certain specified events”.
So there must be some other inward investment they are expecting to cover costs and the loan repayment or else why not do T3 on the close of T2.
Let’s face it took 9 months to get the two previous tranches away so I’m not sure they could get T3 done in 9 or 10 weeks.
Let’s hope so. Thanks for sharing Alwayshoping 👏
Apologies Jiving I stand corrected. I looked at the wrong figures and you are correct re the outstanding amount.
Regarding the buys v sells how is it we moved from a bid of 6.52 to finishing at a bid of 6.68 if there was continued selling. I think there were more buys than sells today.
If they do need to repay the loan then the share price will need to be 40% higher to do that.
Not sure your other comments are correct especially as driving admitted to buying 182k unless you think everything else was a sell today. Which it wasnt.
Jiving I’m all for listening of both sides of the argument, but when’s it rammed down our throats several times over the course of a day it does make me wonder of the motives behind it.
Anyway shouldn’t be long before we hear of strategic investors then we will see a completely different narrative.
What I don’t get is that if you’re invested in a share then why would you constantly highlight any negative?
It’s like taking money out of your own pocket 🤦♂️
Anyway upwards and onwards. Well done to the posters who’ve heard back from Marty but I’m not sure there’s anything he can say at this point.
Hoping for a swift conclusion now to Strategic Investors talks and we can all enjoy a higher SP.
You need to read the RNS from last week.
Marty Knauth, CEO commented:
"A large volume of work has been completed during the recent six months by ZIOC, MPD Congo and our consulting Partners, which I am very satisfied with. This detailed re-costing study further demonstrates that the Zanaga Project provides extremely robust returns for investors and significant infrastructure assets and positive legacies for the Government and people of the RoC. During recent engagements with RoC Ministries, communities and potential strategic investors, the burden of being the first mover in the region of high grade, low impurity iron concentrates for green steel production, is strongly supported and makes for an exciting future for Zanaga.
From this foundation, the upcoming FEED phase will not only seek to validate and enhance our technical confidence but critically, develop Zanaga's management plans around environment, community, training, health, water, mine wastes and ultimate closure. We believe these are equally as important as safe and reliable engineering, and financial viability."
With a strategic investor onboard then this should see the IPO value realised at the very minimum.
Strategic investor announcements could happen any day now they have the updated FS figures which have been passed to interested parties.
