Going to be a massive short squeeze at some point soon if we see sustained V price rises IMO. We are really close to closing that gap now, just sitting at the support above the gap. As I say, be interesting to see how things fair next two weeks once the gap is closed. They will want to break into the gap, as price moves fast where there's no support.

Just spotted that gap from March 2017 - 4.30 SP to fill the gap, then we’ll have to see where it goes from there. It’s very close to the gap now, so it will get filled.

@cindercone - do you suspect the SP will remain depressed at these low levels throughout 2023? Whilst I'm not thrilled where we are as an investor, I'd be happy to acquire some cheap shares during '23 :-)

It’s a trend - simple as and we trend down currently. It doesn’t reflect the value of the company IMO, but it’s common for there to be a disconnect when emotions prevail on AIM. It’s like falling dominos - a cascade of sellers that gets more intense as the drop continues and holders give up and capitulation occurs. Nobody can say where the bottom will be, but it will be when the majority of sellers are exhausted. Feel bad for those whom have lost money - me, I’ll hold to the bottom and back up again. Hands up though, with an average of 12p never expected these levels - I don’t feel great but I’ll only lose if I sell. And why sell when the company is doing fairly well considering.

Still holding, future looks bright. I have a feeling the SP will remain at these levels for a long while longer yet. Why? It's quote simple really - hard times in the economy are here and will only get worse. So anyone that is over exposed on shares will at some point sell to pay their bills. The large players in this and other AIM shares know this and will be waiting for capitulation, and were not there yet. Personally, I see more SP weakness for this reason, but I believe it to be a long term gift. However, at the bottom (and it will come) many will be far too scared to add.

So far as V prices, looking back at when V prices make a move up historically it's generally Q.4. The trend since the 2020 low is a move up with a full re-trace and a move up again higher - macro wise we could be on a long term uptrend and not realize it...

100% - it's been in a falling wedge since March, there's always going to be false breakouts to clear bullish sentiment before it eventually breaks out. It's the 'when' that's the hard part, in the absence of bullish news from the company we need V prices to breakout again.

BMN is being shorted no doubt about that, probably easy money for them. Step 1: Post Bullish news on social media. Step 2: Wait for the herd to buy into it. Step 3: Open short positions. Step 4: Post bearish news on social media and wait for the herd to panic sell. Rinse & Repeat. Likely to go on until there’s a real catalyst for a rise, but at the moment every last breakout is getting shorted to the ground - IMO.

It's probably going to zero, buying this is pure gambling IMO.

FOMC meeting next week with another rate rise on the cards, personally this is a bear market rally - although appreciate the Hopium from some. Queue calls of Trolling, although I'm underwater also so call away...

That said, do you really think this Bear market is over that soon...? We haven't even seen real 'fear' selling yet. Ok, granted BMN SP has been crushed, but generally - I think not...

All normal selling, definitely no manipulative short positions here. You know that for a fact when on green days it's all happy clappy and rah, rah, rah, then on down days radio silence. Encourage FOMO to push price up, short the way down, new participants fodder for the shorters...

I’m of the opinion this drop has a lot to do with shorts, obviously the market conditions don’t help. If I’m right, at some point they will cover and if there’s a few of them out there we all know what happens next…

Agreed - If you look back last 3 years the trend appears to be upwards, albeit not linear, but still nothing goes up in a straight line.

Almost in the same price territory as explorers now. Markets can stay irrational for a while and until we see price increase on substantial volume it's a slow move south. Ah well, here's hoping for a recovery by end of the year.

Yeah - quick cursory look at the 5 year chart and BMN traded lower in March 2020 and also in the last few months.

Mind you, most stocks aren’t doing too well put there either so it’s not a ‘BMN thing’ is it.
