Pdub - all very factual and makes total sense. Appreciate you're common sense approach to this and sharing the facts / benefit of you're experience with the rest of us. In the face of confusion and lack of information, it's all too easy to try and blame others and create theories, but cant argue with keeping it simple.

Yep - agreed. Let's just hope in 5-10 years all of this will just be 'noise' and we are at a realistic valuation SP wise. I'm not in this for a few pence per share and I'd imagine that sentiment is shared among most.

@Pdub - not necessarily saying that, they may well be. What I'm trying to get at is I don't believe Duferco are behind the general direction of the SP and the recent rise and fall. There's a lot of unknown's here - it doesn't help that Grafton Trading are potentially reporting late on their sell's. Whatever is going on here IMO it's orchestrated and more than one entity. For us PI's it's painful, I for one have been averaging down as the fundamentals are excellent IMO and I see this as a long term bet.

@Phimx I buy into you're theory and it was what I was thinking. Considering the whole info flow on Twitter at the same time, whilst almost zero in the way of RNS's feel like pure large trader manipulation. In which case likely we continue to head slightly lower IMO as they squeeze the price lower in advance of Kiln 3 and then the buy back at the lows.

And what did you expect - Duferco to stop selling...?

Lets face it, this is AIM. Not everyone’s going to get rich - ‘they’ make sure of that. Those that can’t handle being underwater and the wait will get flushed out eventually. No conviction? No problem - sell to someone that does.

Thanks all - some good insights here and the main market / JSE staging theory sounds like a fairly sensible one. Yes, they are definitely staging the business right now, nothing more.

More speculation from me, but I reckon Grafton Commodity Trading need the SP to be within a certain range to sell down - (i.e. they cant have too much sell pressure when offloading large volumes over time) and there will be overhead resistance at the various levels above. Could account for the reason why it is where it is.

Purely my point of view and not financial / investment advice however I think the SP is bottoming here. A dip under 200 dma sounds like a good inflection point for the share to bottom (reason I topped up significantly on Friday) and then we just need a catalyst in the form of company news. They really dont like giving news out readily do they, I wonder why, very curious, it's as if they want the SP to be held back...

Let's face it, if they had done a 4p placing there would be a greater reason for concern for most. Cash is needed, end of - if 5pm / share got the deal done than fair enough, not as if it's the best macro economic wise at the moment. Excellent long term investment IMO, I'll hold mine into production.

Patience - the market shakes out the inpatient and fearful. You have to be willing to wait years for gains, and if you’ve bought up high - well, not everyone makes money from the markets do they. Some winners, some losers - that is how it works. The market owes nothing to any investor, we all take our risks and should be prepared to blame only ourselves should it not work out. That’s what amazes me on these BB’s - so many posters blaming everyone except for themselves.

Placing was perfectly reasonable - they need the cash to continue moving forward so a placing is necessary. 5p, plus warrants at 8p down the line - nothing bad about that, I'd say it's good to have more institutions on board. Have a longer term mindset and stop you're winging, lol.

Ok, makes sense PP. I've loaded up weeks ago, so just monitoring supply and demand ahead of news. Have to see where this goes mid-term, cant see myself selling short term though as seems so much potential at the sub 5p I got them at. LTH I think for me, but obviously any big spikes are tempting (then buy back lower), haha!

Yep - I tried £250 as a dummy buy and it was NT. Do what does this mean, MM’s don’t have any shares to sell? I mean, I know AIM is fairly illiquid and this is a small free float but…lol. To be fair I’ve got a decent amount already, but how is the SP to go up if nobody can easily buy..?

Nice post, good to hear someone with a long term investment perspective that isn't whining on about intra-day / week / month changes to the SP / sentiment. Apparently they (the wingers) call themselves 'investors'...!
