yes was hoping like the rest of us that this would rise but so many things are causing this sp to drop main thing is the usa - london flights like i said its BA's main bread n butter as well as other long haul flights

well bud may be but i can not see existing BA staff moving over to the new low coast airline , in fact there setting it up a a independent airline under IAG umbrella but don't quote me on that . That will lead to unions taking a interest and may be cause some rumbles on salaries but they got to do something as long haul may be out for this winter . I also read that they are looking at the wage bill and see if they can cut that down , i know a few execs are on a 3 day week at the moment

IAGLongterm short haul just a side line not much profit in it for |BA bud unless they pay lower wages i see pilots are on 100 k per week

y we need to know how many passengers are on them flights its all well and good putting flights on but if there not full or making profit you are making a loss , jesus did you no do business at primary school

IAGLongterm all i can say at this moment of time short haul is a little smoke screen and not the main focus with BA

Was speaking to a very good friend at weekend who is with BA for 20 years ,flight crew and she told me a few things , so if nothing changes with the USA situation at the end of the month watch this space that's all im saying . Ohh short haul flights make little money for ba Long haul is BA 's bread and butter
