If the USA open ups to the uk at the endof the month there will be mayhem and lockdown will come back in the UK this winter . Why you ask .USA currently have half the population vaccinated so do you really want to go to a country where you have a 3in 1 chance of getting covid . i can not believe the desperate posts on here and can not believe the desperate pleas from officials , if this happens we go back in lockdown for winter , something this government will never want to do .

Wage increase cost IAG will have to pay wages or make redundancies
Long Haul Flights running at 24%
Estimated cost this year 10 billion
Cargo just about breaking even some are making profit
Short haul flights running but no indication this is making money or breaking even
If things don't change in Long haul IAG will come cap in hand to share holders for more money thus diluting the share price , you can speculate how much you want but can not see this sp rising to 230p until Long Haul is back to 100 % .
So the price at the end of the month i say 135p

with the current trend in sp i can see steady progress with news , what will surprise me is a massive jump i think the market may be aware of this

Takayama interesting observation but are they really better off than last year as the gov was paying 100 % furlough and most of the aircraft was grounded . This year the gov paid 75% furlough and what flights took off this year we don't know if they were making a profit or loss per aircraft On the question of a matter of time that's like saying how long is a piece of string , yes im waiting for this to bottom out and i think it will come good but i think it will reach 250 -may be 300 p in 2025 thats if the long haul flights are back 100 %
