BClissold i think wearing a face mask is a big concern if travelling in a enclosed pressurised space , yes the air circulation has improved since i was air std but todays airlines still use recirculated air as well as fresh air . Many times i have had to stop flying due to colds afrom other passengers that blocked my ear drum and unable to de pressurise my body , the principle is the same you are breathing in some one else's germs , i hope they keep the mask policy just feels safer but good masks not cheap ones
