According to my data most Shorts are underwater.

Gladstone is just above water at a breakeven price of 638p

DE Shaw slightly better off at 653p

Kintbury and D1 Capital are still healthy shorters.

All the others are heavily underwater.

In fact it appears to be £12M of sales I presume. They have currently been flagged as Ordinary trades. Not sure that can be accurate. Also just seen another 55K of sales at same price. Could these be delayed buys from yesterday. Maybe shorters reducing?

Just checking the US CFCs on OCADO group website. Apparently Frederick, Maryland just went live last month.

Buying rate has been about 24% of normal rate all day. Which I suspect shorters have been trying to quietly buy back some of their borrowed shares.

As I said on Wednesday, Systematica reduced holding by 0.1% which was about 1/8th of their holding. As they are currently underwater, I suspect they have realised they are on a sticky wicket. Let's see which other shorters have reduced yesterday and today. Have to wait for Monday unfortunately.

Looks to me like shorts have used a mechanism to force the price down using a concerted attack of a number of them to panic other investors and are now trying to close their positions. Will be interesting to see who have reduce today. Will need to wait until Friday for that data

Thanks for the clarification. I assume different divisions also have different commission/bonus based incentives. A bit like Wagner and the Russian military. Both looking for personal advantage.

Looks like something just happened

Looks to me that there has been a lot of shorting activity today. Early on trying to drive price down. Now probably trying to reduce their holdings. It will be interesting to see any changes next Tuesday for today. AHL and Systematica likely to be panicking right now.

That sounds a bit panicky to me. According to my calculations, Vareene need a price of 503p if they wish to break even. At present they are £2.8M underwater. Interesting

The cut off was yesterday on close. Results will be reported after close today

News today suggests OCADO demoted to FTSE250. However as of close yesterday, which I believe is the cut off for decisions, both FRAS and BLND were worth less than OCDO and were in the Automatic Exit zone. But OCDO wasn't.

Anyone have any ideas if this is right.

At present prices, Hiscox, HSX are due for the drop and IMI are due to enter FTSE 100. It's a real relegation battle with two others BLND and FRAS also in danger.

Does anyone know whether we are expecting a trading statement tomorrow to coincide with MKS Full year results. This happened last year.

I was thinking along the same lines. Logistics are a valuable part of the property portfolio at the moment. I hope Ocado do own the site but we don't know. Given the location of the Luton site, it doesn't make sense to have 2 locations so close. Do we know where the nearest Amazon location is?
