Sorry, but you are talking simplistic tosh. Don't claim to be a fount of knowledge when it is clear you are not.

@wyndrum RSI is almost meaningless, unless you are combining that information with other indicators. Same goes for an SMA. A 50 day moving average looks very different, dependent on whether you are looking at it over 15 mins, a day, a week, a month. Same goes for RSI 2 (which I assume you're talking about).

However, if you're talking about appropriate entry and exit points (assuming you're trading vs investing), I suggest you take a Doppler Radar approach over multiple time frames - which will give you a far more measured assessment, rather than saying "the RSI is over 80" - which on its own tells you very little.

I am enjoying it, thank you! Hope everyone is well. In the last month, various family members (who had previously got sick of me banging on about ITM) went through phases of shock, when they witnessed the first big jump... followed by a scrabble to start increasing their holdings.

I have to admit that my portfolio is not balanced at the moment, but I'm happy to keep buying in, even at this price. The company has a long way to go over the next few years, in my view.

Weirdly/interestingly, Trading 212 have REDUCED the maximum number of shares they allow investors to buy in ITM - yet again. Fortunately I have have other ISA options to top up the shares. Family members (who doubted ITM ... foolishly) are now seeing the error of their ways and joining the ITM investment family. Absolutely cracking news this week.

We did have a longer discussion about the merits of hydrogen power in general. Some of them had previously invested in Plug and in Bloom - but as mentioned, they tend to often disregard the London Stock Exchange, which is regarded as lacking liquidity. However, despite that perceived risk factor, they were taken with how attractive ITM is as a proposition.

ITM will get more money flowing in its direction. They are aware of the uptake of hydrogen power outside of the States.

In the general understanding of the term, at present it is.

However, hopefully not for long.

On the point about their 'not being aware' of ITM, it's not odd at all.

The reality is that right now ITM is a penny stock, pre-profitability, so when you use any standard screener on small caps, it isn't typically going to appear.

More relevant is that it is listed on the LSE. Most serious players largely ignore LSE and focus on the S&P, NYSE and Nasdaq, as liquidity on the LSE is regarded as poor.

It's not a question of belief. It was merely each of their evaluations of the data before them, which is in the public domain.

My reason for the conversations in the first place was to reassure myself that I hadn't made an error of judgement. I've certainly made errors on some investments - and they are not slow to point this out.

And no, I'm not going to declare names of private individuals. I am satisfied their observations are fair - given that their teaching material has facilitated my nearly doubling my portfolio in the space of 5 months - in what is a very difficult market right now.

Yes, I want the company to succeed for ethical reasons. But I also have personal financial goals, so am prepared to be hardnosed in my decision making.

Moan if you like. Doubt if you like. I am content that I've made an investment decision based on sound foundations.

Oh - I also mentioned the shorting by Helikon and Qube.... again, the experienced traders dug into the data further... then laughed. The comments were along the lines of: "Oh dear. They will be losing a lot of money. How foolish."

Well now. I've been having conversations with a number of professional traders - and when the conversation gets to a certain point, I tend to bring up ITM, to check out what they make of the company, in terms of its current order book, share price, position within the sector, product offering and signalling for 2026, 2027, etc etc.

Without exception (and these are traders that have worked for the biggest of banks and funds) the responses I have got are along the lines of: "Oh my god - is THAT all this is trading at? Thank you for highlighting this company - I'll be tracking this from now on, because that is going to fly in the next year - that is a multi-bagger". Clearly they assess it as massively undervalued.

It is the only company I've discussed with these very experienced traders which has universally got such consistent reactions. If they are enthused by it, so am I. This is going to get a lot of interest going forwards. The responses have been very excited. These people deal in big numbers and they can see the potential, based on concrete evidence. The uptick will be enormous.

The whingers can moan on all they like.

Given the volatility over the last week in tech & AI stocks in the USA, ITM Power seems a considerably more stable. Quite alot of my portfolio is currently in the red, with the notable exceptions of ITM & Ceres.

Likewise, I was delighted to visit ITM yesterday. I was struck by the integrity and determination of the team, as well as the quality of the product and manufacturing process - which really was outstanding.

As with others, I have no hesitation in loading up more shares. By hook or by crook, it is clear Dennis is leading the company to a very bright future, so I'm extremely happy to be on that journey with ITM.

Also received a golden ticket. Looking forward to meeting others on 7th October!

But the sheer volume of your posts/attention seeking indicates you would be a fantastic study for a psychology PhD student.

Back to ITM Power, the point stands that if you loathe the company this much, logic says you would sell (unless you're a shorter).

I am genuinely mystified as to why some posters - well one - determinedly attempts to prove their own assessment as the ultimate authority on ITM Power... with a relentless barage of doom posting.

I have a relative who is the world's greatest armchair critic, convinced of their superior analytical skills - though not borne out in their actions. It's an exhausting waste of energy, listening to them go on and on.
