I agree, but Germany now have Manageable stats, unfortunately UK, are still swamped.
There has been improvement on 03 May stats-though.....so
As long as the 'NEW CASES'numbers Fall, we can then say we are on downward trend,
but certainly were NOT on downward trend when BORIS gave that 'uneasy update video !

BORIS gave a Video briefing of how the current Covid-19 Virus has 'Peaked' and that
we were on a 'downward trend' was also stated !

This Video was broadcast on a day when New Cases of infection rose 50% BORIS !
29 April- ( UK ) -New cases = 4076, - New Deaths = 795
30 April- ( UK ) -New cases = 6032, - New Deaths = 674
BORIS 'darling'-it is NEW CASES that needs resolving, that is the Statistic that needs Controlling !
The Video clip, to me, appeared- rushed/made up/ad lib-as whomever is advising BORIS-MORRIS or DORIS
is providing arguably poor statistics !

Either,

China has been saving these up, and reporting only once a MONTH,
or, I believe, the link above, is updated by Chinese (someone has to do it), and possibly
the Stats were incorrectly placed in wrong categories (1290 NEW CASES-351 Dead)

For those that read, things are being relaxed in China, Spain-USA to start to wind down, you
NEED to get out more !

so we are approx 42% of our next 100,000 deaths already in 6 DAYS !

Covid-19 is influencing this share price. The UK stats for control of the Spread on the Pandemic-is NOT waning. Most people are obeying the isolation requirements. London is rife with infection, Birmingham also has big problems, this will not gain too much, too quickly, remember, LLOYDS business is Mortgages, and should there be lots of late payments from the Government under Furlow payments, you can only see a downward share price.
